      Yup, its a cycle. Plowing and gardening in the spring and summer. Tossing hay and gardening in the summer fall. Wood cutting/splitting, hunting and canning in the fall/winter. And then its spring again! And you wonder why us old fucks want to hybernate?

    The old man that gave me my CCW class was buried today. We will miss him, Korean war vet, retired LEO, and as pro second amendment of anyone I have ever met. He was also my Grand dad's brothers grandson and his father was the founder of Coats NC. RIP Sherrill Coats you will be missed.

    Saw some giant swans that my girl wanted to take a picture of. I say "Lemme go stand behind them, so you can see in the pic how big they are". Bad idea. Lesson learned. As soon as I got close, one started making a hissing noise and puffs itself up like it's gonna attack. Note to self: Don't fuck with winged creatures that are the size of small horses.
