    12ga hi-cap mags?

Well, you can check out my idea for after the AWB ends. USAS 12 10 round mags. As of now they are unmodified. They are rare and expensive, but I found 2 for a great price and 1 for an OK price.
  2. If FA990 can ask legal questions and refrain from blowing up on people like in the other thread, he is more than welcome here. I only would want to ban him if he continued to get mad at people, ask full-auto questions and use profanities.
  3. FA990, thank you for asking a great question. 1) I can bump fire my Saiga 12 just fine from the hip, but it is very hard to hold on to. Those 12 gauge slugs have a lot of recoil. I have done it twice. 2) I doubt that you could bump fire any .22lr. I have tried with my .22 rifle, but it just didn't have enough recoil. 3) I have no experience with paintball guns. You should be able to bump fire any semi-auto between 12 gauge and .223
  4. Please respond to this thread I can't take any more of this. I am not going to let some little 16 year old punk ruin this great forum that we have all worked hard to establish. Why are we even wasting our breath arguing with an immature 16 year old who can't even own a rifle yet. I think that we should plead with the moderator of this forum to ban FA990, unless he can refrain from asking illegal questions and using profanities.
  5. I agree, FA990, if you have legitimate legal questions, stick around, if you continue to follow the same path you have been treading, we will all vote you ban you from the forums.
  6. I still don't think you understand.....the BATF (Bureau of Alcohol Tabacco and Firearms) considers full auto any trigger group that fires more than one shot with only one trigger pull. Any burst trigger (or tri-burst) is completely illegal. What you can do is buy one of those trigger devices from a gunshow that helps you to fire almost full auto. Those are legal because they only fire one round per trigger pull. If you think anything else is legal, I'm sorry, but you will be subject to a min. $10,000 fine and 5 years in federal prison. Do what you would like, but don't try to get full-aut
  7. Full Auto 990, I haven't visited this board for a few weeks, but I checked in today and I see tons of your posts and mentions of select fire or full auto parts for AK's, etc. Then I see that you are only 16 years old. We sincerely appreciate new members and anyone that contributes to this board, but you cannot (16 years old or not) give anything to the Anti-Gun people to use against our rights. Imagine if the media found some of your posts and published something.....it would be terrible for every responsible owner a firearm. I invite you to continue to ask questions and learn, t
  8. I have green buffers in both my Saiga 12 and my Saiga 7.62x39. I don't notice a reduction in felt recoil, but both are in great shape after many rounds. Saiga 12 has around 800 rounds of mixed 2 3/4" target shot, slugs, 3" slugs/00 buck, etc.
  9. I love the Polish Synthetic 30 round mags with smooth sides and the Bulgarian Waffle mags in 30 rounders. I like them because they not only function well and are lighter than steel mags, but they match the Saiga's black synthetic furniture very well.
  10. Here are the two wires I have: I believe the straight one is from my Saiga Bolt Hold Open? How do I go about routing the wire to retain the axis pins? I've tried Sheik's tutorial but I can't figure it out. Which one of the following methods of routing the wire should I use with a Saiga? Any help would be appreciated! Also, I tried installing the bolt hold open with the new FCG, and it didn't seem like it would fit, because I couldn't get the hammer's axis pin to go in all the way. Is it possible to use the Saiga bolt hold open?
  11. Before After All I have left to do is finish my feed ramp (if it needs it) and later I'm going to paint the underside and the rivits on the sides. I'm very happy with how it turned out.
  12. sounds like you forgot to either hook up the hammer spring correctly so that it resets the trigger when you release, or you forgot to install your disconnector spring (the little one that fits in between the trigger and the disconnector). Retrace your steps using this tutorial. http://www.gunsnet.net/Linx310/fcgremoval3.htm
  13. Ya, except the one on Blackjack's page is mounted via a rail on the forend, I'm looking for something I can just thread into the forearm where the sling mount is. If Harris bipods can use slingmounts for their mounts, I figure I can use a slingmount to mount a forward pistol grip somehow.
  14. I'm interested in getting a forward pistol grip for my Saiga (PG converted, 16" barrel, 7.62x39 synthetic forend) but I'm having trouble finding places that sell them. What are some sources for them? I was thinking about trying to mount a forend pistol grip using the existing sling swivel screw in the forend. Anyone know how I could make this work? I am thinking something like this (I realize that this picture shows a traditional AK forend, not a Saiga, but this was the idea):
  15. Ivan, I have one. Send me an email! hartzpad@comcast.net
  16. Well, when the AWB no longer exists, here is a company that offers M4 telescopic stocks for AK's and Saigas: http://www.riflestocks.com/ak.htm
  17. actually, in California you can have a detachable magazine on a pump action shotgun, but not a semi-auto.
  18. No, I don't think we should, the 12 forum gets a lot more posts and it would just confuse everything. Judging by your post count of 4, maybe you should post most often and help us get some more traffic here.

    wanted 308.

That model in the picture is the 16" barrel .223 remington. The .308 has a square box magazine and the 7.62 x39 model has a curved magazine.
  20. I've put around 500 rounds through my Saiga 12 19" barrel w/o one jam and I've only cleaned it once in that time. I forgot to switch the gas valve back to #2 after using magnum rounds and it still cycles standard 2 3/4" #8 target rounds on the magnum setting, I was really surprised. I figure that I'll leave it on the magnum setting until I get a jam (which hasn't happened yet, 200 rounds later).
  21. They are wrong, unless the Saiga that you use them in has had 5 U.S. parts added (or has no more than 10 imported parts). If you have more than 10 imported parts in your Saiga (ie. Stock Saiga) than they is completely illegal.
  22. Well, I still need to finish my 7.62x39 pistol grip conversion (almost done), but my next Saiga will be either a 16" .308 or another 7.62x39 w/ a 20" barrel to try and make an RPK replica.
  23. This AK mag on ebay actually states that "This is a 30 round saiga 7.62x39mm clip also fits ak47's", but it's just a 30 round AK magazine that won't function in a Saiga. So you have to be careful about what you're hoping for http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=52509
  24. Oh, don't worry, I caught that thread, but if you take out the stopper, it is illegal to use in an unconverted Saiga. But you can use it all you want for 10 rounds, but why even buy it if that's the case?
  25. Sorry, but that magazine will require modifications to work in a Saiga, the ad just says that it matches a Saiga. That is the same magazine that AIM sells. There is no other option other than the factory 10 and 5 round magazines. What you need to do is a Pistol Grip conversion, then you can use these magazines, I use them in my Saiga and I have to say, they look Great!
