  1. I don't have one handy. Can anyone measure for me?
  2. So where did you get the square back receiver from? Did you scratch build your PSL? It's a Nodak receiver made for TGI. They are all out of them now though....makes me glad I got three. Now to find some more kits.
  3. That receiver is the standard PSL receiver. The receiver I used was a square back receiver like a standard AK receiver. It is 1.5mm thick rather than 1mm thick so any stock you used must be narrowed up a little to fit in the receiver.
  4. No, it is all standard AK parts. I didn't want to "Bubba" it up, although some will say I did. It has a Romanian sidefolder lever stock, standard AK pistol grip, K-Var handguards and normally wears the RPK style brake. You would be surprised how comfortable this rifle is to shoot. It isn't painful at all, which shocked the hell out of me.
  5. I just recently built up a PSL. I am trying to figure out some way to get a 20 round mag to work but until then, 10 rounders will have to do.
  6. OK, so where is the website for this crap? Seems it has been removed from the OP.
  7. I am wanting to try some thing out and need a new Saiga 12 barrel to work on. Does anyone know where I can get one? Length is of no matter (As long as it's over 6") and the external condition is not an issue....as long as it is truly a functional barrel. So where can I get one?
  8. Here I am with a friend's RPD. It was a lot of fun, now I need to build one of my own.
  9. I just used a virgin AK trigger guard and mag catch on my 7.62. Looks great and I love it. I will use one on all future builds (Except the S12 of course)
  10. negative ghost rider... should fold over a 20rnd mag though, I don't have one to check with though But it will fold with a 30 rounder if you do the work and mod the receiver.
  11. I ground down the front edge of the gas tube. It sounds like your lever isn't turned all the way. use the cleaning kit and turn it some more.
  12. Are you sure the lever is positioned right? use the cleaning kit as a lever (there's a slot in the cleaning kit for the tab on the lever) and turn it until the gas tube falls in. On the AK tube, I had to grind mine down a little bit to get it to drop in. If you have a micrometer, measure the tube and see if you need to shave some off.
  13. What do you mean, to fix the stock open, or when I welded up the receiver? To fix the stock open I would just weld the underfolder parts to the trunnion and make the folding feature inoperable. To actually install the underfolder trunnion, I had to remove the sight mount and weld EVERY rivet hole, the original FCG holes, and the holes used to bend the flats by the factory. I then hand filed them to match the receiver. Then I drilled new holes for the underfolder trunnion and sand blasted the whole rifle. I then Moly-Resined the entire rifle. It wasn't an easy process.....it took
  14. I wanted an underfolder, so I did it. I didn't want a block hanging off the back of the receiver, I wanted it to look like it was meant to be. So......here ya go! Before: After: are u selling this on gunbroker right now? i just saw this same gun listed for sale? Yes, I did the work myself, rather than paying a gunsmith, and yes, I am selling it on Gunbroker. Doubt I will get what I'm asking, but I personally think it's fair considering how much I have put into it. As far as the difficulty, it took me about 4 days work to complete it, and I probably wouldn't do
  15. Yes, it will fit, but you have to drill the holes in the FSB and Barrel to pin it in place.
