i actually used weavers magnetic scope levels to help with the gas block cant. finding flat planes on receiver and gas block. used a mallet and punch to to work it in. and used a light to find gas ports as others mentioned. i was worried about burrs in the barrel as well. didnt really see any so i just ran a bore snake though it just encase.

i just looked and the shepherds cook was out of place to the angled to the right for some reason, not in the notch in the axis pin i think ill try out the retaining plate it looks like once its in it cant fail

i just converted my gun and i,m extremely pleased the problem is the axis pin though the hammer keeps coming loose does anyone have experience in solving this problem the shepherds crook is in so i don't believe thats the problem oh also i have this problem with the magazine release pin i every once in a while have to smack it back in

i was planning to duracoat my s12, but i was wondering how well it would work on the barrel would the barrel get to hot for the duracoat its not an auto or should i use something else for the barrel

with the s12 you have to align the sights quick while simultaneously noticing the target moving just before the targets path, then fire as it crosses its a lot for your mind at first to swing and shoot moving targets accurately, but certainly possible though practice for those just a few feet in front of you apples you have to focus hard and really just tunnel vision on them of course that close your factory sights our going to be way high so point with the barrel

i dont, but while i may have enough parts that just barely allow me to use american hicap mags ( counting there 3 comp part) i wont be able to use the stock 5rd mag or these btp 5rd mags in short i'll have an external pistol grip conversion for now true but i explain above

I was thinking about getting some Taiwan btp 5 rd mags. i was wandering if anyone knows if these mags can be switched out with these http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/se...ring-kit/Detail therefore making them 2 0f 3 compliant parts i realize this parts kit is made for surefire mags but perhaps there compatible? the reason for this is that they are cheap and during half ass conversion i could use foreign 5 rd mags instead of my boomerang

When you all shoot skeet with your s 12 do you point or line up the sights, it seems i do better if i line up the sights and shoot than i do wide eyed

its an interesting and cool design to me though rotating the tube between rounds doesnt sound as intuitive as a pump action or as effortless and inattentive as an autoloader such as s-12 still pretty bad ass
