After a long night in the shop, I go in the house to crash... At about 0500 I see 2 guys on my camera system walking through my front yard & toward the side of the house, trying to look in all the windows as they went... I grab the AK & flank them by coming out the side door on the opposite side of the house than they were on... Imagine their surprise when I yell out "What the fuck are you doing!?" as I draw a bead on the guy looking in my side window where one of the girl...

Oh yeah Jack, they're great.
Just a couple dudes prowling, scoping places out. I'm rather certain they're deterred.
The girls aren't family, we're all just friends & rent the house from another friend.
Big house,cool situation.
Fun area, just sketchy some times.
The only reason I come out with the AK like that is it's enough to deter anyone with a pistol from thinking of drawing.
It makes it less likely to have to stop a deadly threat....

There's just something about the legendary profile of AK styling that strikes a chord in people's psyche & they don't even think of making attack.
A pistol doesn't have the same effect.
It works, but the AK platform is just more persuasive.
