  1. You mean like this..... ........ though technically since this is an integrally suppressed Saiga 12, the suppressor isn't shrouding the barrel, but rather the suppressor is the barrel. Nearly a year has gone by!! Yeah, that's how the Baikal barrel is silenced. I'm not sure how that can be done to a Saiga as the bore is chromed...
  2. Waiting for my Safir T14

  3. They know this, the folding stock on mine is locked so that it complies with UK firearms regulations, so they would probably sell the same version in your state.
  4. Mine has the top rail and it's very sturdy.
  5. No, mine's a toy. I'd pick up my old side-by-side before anything else I own. Same as my ol' gram-pappy had by his bed.
  6. I can't help dry-firing - I can't count to 8 that quickly!!
  7. Looks similar in size to the 10rd drum I got with my Mossberg
  8. Something that no one seems to have mentioned... I have a green and a red on different guns. The green one hates cold weather! Once it cools down to below 5 Celcius it just wont turn on. The red is still functional at this temperature.
  9. We are legally allowed to own magazines in the UK, they aren't 'controlled' under any legislation. Rusmilitary.com will sell 20 rd drum mags but the prices are eye-watering - about $1000 as mentioned above Our club in Lincolnshire has a practical target 50yard range with drop down steel plates.
  10. That looks mean. In a good way!!
  11. I fitted an SA80 sling. It worked fine on the SA80 and feels OK on the S12. I'll mainly be using the S12 on the range and out rabbiting. Walking around for a few hours takes it toll in the fields!
  12. Now that would burn a hole in my wallet!
  13. Took it for a blast today - 150 rounds of 2 3/4" and 3" number 5 and 6 shells. It's fantastic! My buddy has a Benelli semi-auto and he was very impressed at how quickly it cycled. Even my scaredy-cat girlfriend loved it! Downside? That was a really quick way of blowing £30!!!
  14. Why would you want to kill a thread some people (like me) have never read? I have standard 8rd plastic mags on a standard magwell S12 and have no idea what mags will even fit, never mind what others have chosen!
  15. I put a Hawke Red-dot on it as they're only £40 and am now waiting for daylight to go to the range! Any tips on what I should check/adjust before I put some lead down the range?

    Spetsnaz 2

I bought the Spetsnaz 2 and the Axiom Mossberg - they get posted out today and I'm now bouncing around with anticipation!! I wont be able to have the Mossberg for a few months though as I have to get my Police to approve of me having it
  17. I use my old British military issue ear muffs and keep a bag of work issue foam plugs to hand out to friends if they forget to bring some ear defenders. I've never liked ear plugs when riding my bikes as it cuts out too much ambient noise - other vehicles can sneak up on you!
  18. We have two licences, a Fire Arms Certificate (FAC) and a Shotgun Certificate. On a Shotgun licence we are allowed a shotgun of not more than 3 cartridge capacity with a minimum length of 40". A shotgun with more than 3 cartridges needs to be put on the FAC and be well justified to the Police. Practical Shotgun competition and vermin control are justifiable reasons to own a multi-shot shotgun. So on my Shotgun Certificate, I have my Baikal Hushpower .410 and an AYA side-by-side 12 gauge. The multi-shot took over a year to be approved by my local Firearms Dept! The 12C has been bought b
  19. is itching to get a multi-shot!

  20. I have a Baikal .410 Hushpower and it's great! With 2 1/2" shells it's quieter than a .22 rimfire I would seriously consider a silencer for the Saiga but it would have to shroud the barrel rather than just stick further out at the front.
  21. That's why I'm considering it. The Cobra optic and a silencer are sweeteners too. Buying rifles second-hand is usually more risky than shotguns as there isn't as much worry on how the previous owners have treated the bore. The Mossberg just looks great!
  22. Hi everyone, I'm new here and have finally got my Police to agree to me having a multi-shot shotgun. I have 2 to choose from right now, a s/hand 12C (£???) or a brand new Spetsnaz 2 (£1100). These are very hard to get in the UK, a new one has an 8 month waiting list as far as I'm aware! Has anyone got good reason to choose one over the other? There's also a pump action Mossberg with a Knoxx Axiom stock with 10rd drum mag for £500 which looks fantastic!! 12C Spetsnaz 2 Mossberg
