  1. I have seen the pins coated with blue toctite, that way you could still get it out if needed.
  2. They are not regulated in anyway, they can litterally freeze your account with them, pull money from your bank account and you would have to sue them to get it back. No farking way!
  3. The first time I took it to Henderson Defense industries in town after Cadiz told me tough luck, I belive it was tig welded. Mine cracked in the same spot as the OP's. The top most part of threaded area cracked. The gun still worked 100% and did not even know about it unitl I was cleaning it. The Piston had some movement but was not going to come out and the bottom of the threaded area seemed fine. My guess is the the piston was not bottomed out against the the carrier when the piston was staked in place and the thinner metal around the threads at the top just gave way under the force.
  4. It has just been sitting in the safe, I plan on taking it to a buddy of mine to see what he can come up with. He has access to a complete metal fabrication shop.
  5. One of my S12's did the same thing. I had it welded locally, and it did it again. This gun was never over gassed ( 3 correct sized holes) , would not run the cheap stuff without a fluff and buff and a MDarms Vplug on the highest setting. It did not show any signs of beating the cover or tail of the carrier up and never had anything but birdshot through it. Back then I called Cadiz and all I got was a sorry it cracked, call a gunsmith. On my newest S12 (no scope plate) the metal around the threads of the piston is even thinner which has got me worried. Why cant someone in the US make a heav
  6. looks decent, It is nice to have another option for the S12's. Any pics of one mounted?
  7. WTB: Chaos Quad rail with HK sights Not wanting to wait for the next batch, let me know what you got.
  8. I too had issues with the BHO going up into the gun when firing. It would lock the carrier back and it was a pita to get the gun open to fix. I then cut a groove in the arm and made a small bend to the spring. Next trip out the same thing happend. I had floss with me this time and fixed it onsite. It was fine until I dumped the last 3 rounds then it happend again. I made the notch deeper and it did not help at all. I have since ripped it out and will be taking it out of my new S12 as well.
  9. I dont know what promag was thinking when setting the MSRP on these compact drums being this close to the price of the 20rnd. IMO they should be around $60.
