  1. Roger that; my CIII dealer/mfg told me today that 922r only applied to mfgs.
  2. My head hurts....lol. Has anyone ever been nicked for non-compliance? I doubt it.
  3. I'm really glade I paid $650 out the door last month for my re-marked "pre-ban" S-12 last month. It's only money.....lol. I don't have a use for the side rail and would rather have bought & converted a new model. Buy high and live w/ it forever, I guess that is my new motto!
  4. I like the current Russian Poly furnature look. I still trying to decide if I want to go w/ the K-Var AK74 style handguard. This is mine:
  5. I just picked up a new GP WASR 10/63, it has the Romanian Military (RomArm/Cugir) triangle w/arrow stamped on the trunion. The rifle is also stamped with the date of mfg 1970 and the S/N. These new WASRs are much higher quality than the ones that were sold 10 years ago. The bolt & carrier have very few machining marks and are well finished & there are also no front sight or gas block cant issues. It's build quality is pretty close to that of my new RomArm Draco. The WASR 10/63 has a threaded bbl w/ slant break, correct pinned gas piston, bayo lug, Tapco G2 FCG, matching numbered parts,
  6. I plan on picking up a chromed surplus brake in 5.45 for my SGL-31, however I could not find any surplus 24mm brakes in 7.62 cal.
  7. I just ordered one of these from CSS for my SGL20: AK74 STYLE BULGARIAN 24MM BRAKE SKU: 24MM-74BRAKE Uses the larger AK74 24MM threads. Fits the new Saiga IZ332. Made in the USA. http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/servlet/-strse-1282/24mm-AK74-Brake-Threads/Detail
  8. The Turks make good guns, however I would rather have a Russian AK variant in 12 GA than an oversized AR looking shotgun. Plastic lowers on ARs have never been very popular, maybe the Turks can sell us on it.
  9. They have been $600+ for quite a while in SW Washington and Portland OR metro areas. Some folks have been selling them for around $700, but I picked up my re-marked SGL12 up for a little less than $650 out the door (after taxes).
  10. My new (old stock) Arsenal SGL20-01 that I just bought does not have a muzzle brake, just a very ugly thread cap. What is the best source for a AK-74 style brake for the 7.62x39 SGL-20? Will the brake on my 5.45x39 SGL-31 work on the 7.62x39 SGL-20? I was thinking of buying a surplus (E. German) chrome lined brake for my SGL-31 since I shoot it mostly w/ corrosive Russian surplus ammo. SGL20-01 SGL31-61
