  1. I buy the vast majority of my stuff from CSS, they're great, super fast shipping and real honest people, I didnt buy their convo kit, but I did order just about all my pieces for my conversion from them. I'm a DIYer myself and CSS provides real nice instructions too, also watch their vids, they're great for the DIYers. Mike
  2. Zach, Thanks, I have completed just about everything I want done to my Saiga, save for the barrel cutting, I'm sending it to a gunsmith for that, so I think R&R may be my best bet. Thanks, Mike
  3. Does anyone make an ambi AR style selector/safety switch to fit on the Saiga 12?? I know R&R makes them, but I have NO intel on them what so ever, there is only a pic on their sight with NO info, just a price. SO anyone else??? I know this is a Saiga and NOT an AR, but I carry an AR everyday at work and can't help but love the damn thing, I can't carry my Saiga on duty.... Thanks, Mike
  4. After close review of the instructions, I think I'll let a professional gunsmith do the magwell for me, I just installed the RAM ambi extended mag release, I LOVE IT!!! I think the next thing I do is get me an amb AR stile safety selector on it:) Thanks again, Mike
  5. KillDozer, Thanks for the reply, so basically what your saying is that it can be done relatively easy? Thanks again, Mike

  7. I ordered the JT Eng Magwell yesterday along with alot of other Saiga goodies but now I'm questioning my gunsmithing abilities. Does anyone have any pics or maybe even a video instructional on installing a JT Eng Magwell for surefire mags, maybe even one on modding the surefire mags to work right? I think I can handle the install, I did the conversion on my Saiga and have all the necessary tools can someone please enlighten me? Thanks, Mike
  8. What was the install on that magwell like? I just ordered mine yesterday, I'll install it as soon as it comes in.
  9. SWEET!!!! Similar to mine!!! I've got the Chaos quadrails, I got a VLTOR stock, Chaos warthog muzzle brake, jt magwell, utg foward grip and an EoTech 552:) I love it
  10. I can't believe it!!!! I have been waiting patiently for this to happen and by the looks fo it, it finally did. I'll be one of the members to order that DIYer kit, I feel I can handle the install:) Mike
  11. Yes you should! But a bit of good news, Chaos will be going into production on forward grips later this year. Cameron, I snagged up a Warthog and barrel nut a couple minutes ago, I ordered a quadrail from y'all earlier this week too:) I ordered a UTG vertical grip, but I can sell it CHEAP when your vertical grip comes up.... Bye the way, what are the chances on getting a Porkypine??? I'd sell my soul to satan for one of them (not literally but just about) Thanks, Mike
  12. I ordered my Chaos quadrail earlier this week, I'm extremely excited about it, then I just ordered the Warthog and barrel nut, pretty stupid to pay twice for shipping, but oh well.... What about the vertical grip?? Did Chaos stop manufacturing it? I would slit someones' throat for a porkypine too;) but I'm new to Saiga and I've only had mine for a couple of weeks and alot of cool items are no longer in production:( Thanks, Mike
  13. From my understanding the Chaos Porkypine is a thing of the past, I'm new to Saiga and would absolutely love to find one, but looks like I'm S.O.L., I also wanted one of the Chaos vertical grips but alas, I can't find that either, I better get the Warthog muzzle attachement before its extinct too... Mike
  14. I spoke to a gentleman at Selph Arms LLC, looks like they're my guys, I'll be sending them my Saiga once I get all my parts in, they'll be doing my recoil spring, barrel cutting, porting and brake mounting amongst testing everything out for me.... I'll post pics of their finished product once I get it back. Mike
  15. I also want this done, what does it entail?
  16. Mr. Travers, Thank you for your quick reply, I look foward to the information regarding the new magwell. Thanks again, Mike
  17. Selph Arms, PM'd you... I want this done aswell. Thanks, Mike
  18. Mr. Travers, are these magwells available on your site now? I just recieved my conversion from you store and the pieces worked flawlessly and your instructions were great, I'm a first time builder/converter with NO Saiga experience and my Saiga looks and functions GREAT!!! I will be ordering a few more pieces from you within in the week, I hope the updated magwell is available for purchase by the end of the week. Thank you, Mike
  19. Thanks for all the replies, I looked at the Duracoat Durabake product, but looks like I'll be using Aluma Hyde II instead, it seems like its a better overall product and has great reviews.
  20. Hello everyone, this is my first post, I have been using the search function mostly, but I couldnt find any topics that advised the preferable paint to paint the frame of my Saiga 12. I recently bought my Saiga and conducted my own pistol grip conversion aswell and cut the rear tang to install an M4 style stock. There are pieces of bare metal from where the original trigger guard was aswell as where I cut the tang. Could you recommend a good spray paint I could use to cover these areas? I plan on keeping it blk bye the way. Thanks, Mike
