  1. I have a 30-06 savage 110. Its a GREAT gun. Ive shot everything from wild boar to deer with it. It never had a problem ( except when I used some crappy American Eagle ammo which would fire worth a damn. I went back to winchester rounds and Remington and havent had a problem since. ive shot it as far as 600 yards ( when i had the right scope) now it shoots about 300 yards. I can consistantly hit a 2 inch circle at 300 yards. The ONLY thing I dont like is its strictly a scope rifle. it has no iron sights so sometimes I take my SKS hunting in the woods because its easier to aim and fire for clo
  2. is reloading easy or is it something tht requires a rocket science degree? I always buy off the shelf stuff but I wouldnt mind knowing how to reload cause i would be able to reload my 30-06 then also. Thanx Rob
  3. I usually set it for 400 yards. We just went and shot out in the desert in the middle of nowhere so we had the room to go that far. ranges around here mabey got to 200 yards and that was all. I cant think of anything specific. Oh I think I found the scope cover. Ill mail that out to you. I didnt think I had it but I guess I did so ill ship it out next week Cool? Rob
  4. hey guys Im getting a 44 mag revolver. Where are the best prices for ammo. Around here the price for a 50 round box is abotu 21-30$ depending on the manufacturer. Is that the average price for ammo for this handgun?
  5. Ok make sure that you email me your address. my email is coming in really slow for some reason. PM me on here Thanx Rob
  6. Sorry guys ive been sick as a dog. Got some weird flu a few days ago ( probably SARS HaHa) and had to go to the doctor. I felt fine yesterday afternoon so i went to work today and I jsut got back. Sorry for any emails or PMs I didnt respond to but I think I got to all of them. RangerM9 the stock is from a SKS 59. I have a bayonet for the SKS. I have one from a 59 and one form a 59/66. the 59/66 is abotu 3 inches longer then the 59 bayo. Rangerruck. Im assuming you were the one emailing me about the scope. I did e mail someone abotu the scope I was selling and i assume its you Ive
  7. Yes. the last person backed out due to some financial difficulty Rob
  8. Holy crap dude. It looks like you shot someone's black lab retreiver. I had to look at it 2x before I realised it was a bear. Man you guys have all the fun. here in so cal hunting blows. i gotta go to my bro in laws up in northern cal to go hunting which I dont mind cause I get to see them and get a vacation Rob
  9. I have a Mossberg home defender 500. Best gun I ever had. I dont have anythign on it like ammo holder or pistol grip. jsut a plain shotgun. it holds 8 rounds its a 12ga and I basically have it loaded with buck shot and slug ammo. I've fired this gun numerous times with both bird shot for skeet ( didnt work too well short barell) but for slugs/buck its devastating. i tore apart a rail road tie with slug ammo. best thing it was only $189 at wal mart. so even if it breaks and/or gets stolen im still not out that much $$. There is a Big% sporting goods place by my house that sells this p
  10. RobDennis, Thanks for that post. It puts things in a clearer perspective for me. Are you in the north or south part of Cali? I'm on the San Fran peninsula, just south of Bejing. Im in orange county so cal.
  11. I wouldnt sweat it too much dude. I live in PRK also and when i go to the shooting range I see a ton of people with ak's or variants and theire out there with 30 round mags going to town. Most cops have no freaking clue as long as its not a PG and doesnt have a 30 round clip attached to it most cops wont look at it twice. hell I just bought a SKS about 4 months ago at turners outdoorsman. I took it shooting tons of times and got pulled over 2x and all the cop did was ask me if the guns were unloaded. they were he asked to look at them and he made me close everythign back up and said have a ni
  12. Whatever someone is selling its only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. Thats all there is to it. if youre not willing to pay someones' asking price then either make them a offer or go shop somewhere else. the seller is either gonna find some other buyer or he will be stuck/hold on to the inventory he has. You need to add in the extras that the guy is selling the gun with. lets say the whole package retail would be 900$ and he is asking 700 well thats a good price cause youre literally saving yourself 200$. Hell I have a gun kit that Im selling. I see the kits going for 300
  13. What hes really saying is its never been fired and only dropped once. LOL sorry I couldnt help it. Rob
