  1. Thanks for the heads up, but its unfortunately out of stock. I had checked out the the private for sale section, but not the e-store.
  2. Have a friend looking for a combination stock and pistol grip for an unmodified Saiga 12. It is not the thumbhole type, but looks more like a regular pistol grip and stock fused together. Have seen one on a gun, but the owner can't remember the source. Have heard it may be Russian, but can't confirm. Anyone know where to get something like this? Thanks in advance.
  3. I was very impressed with the drum. It functioned flawlessly with several shooters and weak loads. I actually had no problem fitting the drum in the gun, but loading the drum would take some practice. It is built like a tank and you could beat the crap out of someone if the ammo ran dry. Price is a little high, but I can see people saying in a few years, "I wish I had bought one when they were only $300.00.".
  4. Don't know what current pricing is, but there is also a 20C. Have only seen two, both were made into short barrel shotguns and I own one. Have seen pictures of the 410 C and K versions, but have never seen one in person and don't know if any were imported.
  5. Don't know if they're still doing it, but have shot an IPSC three gun match at the NRA before. It was a lot of fun even with only fifty yards. Their regular match days are Tuesdays and special events would take place on months with five Tuesdays. Three gun was one type of special event. There might be some sort of long gun competition at the Fredericksburg range with IPSC matches. Cavalier www.cavrpc.org will have a three gun match the last Sunday in November. Norfolk County Rifle Range and the side matches at Black Creek near the Richmond airport seem to be the best defense shotgu
  6. Does he send the packages by registered mail? Did you have to sign for the shipment? Thanks.
  7. Does this have the Bulgarian krinkov style folder with forward locking catch in the side of the receiver? Do you refinish after the conversion or just touch up? Thanks.
  8. The ATF letter defininig the parts in a Saiga shotgun looks like it was a response to Wes at Soupbowl. I believe he was the one who came up with the idea of adding US parts to imported rifles to allow evil features as domestically produced rifles. It looks like he just happened to ask about Saiga shotguns in addition to the rifles. I don't think it has any more signifigance than asking that the parts of a Beretta autoloading shotgun be defined. He was trying to work on a Saiga 12 at one point with a pistol grip and proprietary mag, but ATF vetoed his design. Unless there is an ATF ruli
  9. I'm not trying to open a can of worms, but the 89 import ban had nothing to do with shotguns or pistols. Only rifles were affected. The 94 ban introduced restrictions on shotguns, imported or domestic. If 94 goes away, there's still nothing about shotguns in the 89 import ban. There may be some specific import restriction on pistol grip mag fed shotguns such as the SPAS-15 or mag fed M3 that is not as widely known. For instance HK SP 89s and other "assault pistols" were banned from importation by a Clinton executive order. Shotguns that were affected by the ban such as a pistol
  10. Those mags are the real deal. Check out the Kalashnikov Arms book. I have an early Saiga 20 and the two five round mags that came with it are also ribbed and numbered to the gun. The real question is will anyone ever see these mags? Even if it isn't a scam they have to make it through Russian and US customs. All of the guy's feedback is for buying stuff, but he has no track record of getting goods to the US. All of that said, at the right price, I would be willing to take a chance.
  11. Even if the ban is lifted, EAA might not make the mags readily available or even offer a factory pistol grip version of the Saiga. Look at the USAS-12. It was classified as a destructive device based on having a bore of greater than .50 and no sporting purpose. EAA probably will not offer what we all want because a reclassification to a DD would mean no Saiga 12s or 20s. That's not to say the mags wouldn't come in from other sources or that the guns couldn't be modified to a proper configuration. I just don't think EAA will be a source for higher cap mags and pistol grip guns.
