Well after some deep thought (a beer helped) I htink since I already have a 410 (singleshot) Iam going to get a rifle. Something good for deer hunting. Any Ideas? I still want it to be a Saiga.

I thought at first this show had great potential, then I realized it was full of arrogant a$$holes and people that over exaggerated their shooting abilities. Hell I could have done better than most of those guys.

Oh yea does it shoulder great, I was thinkin of getting a tactical stock for mine (forend and shoulder) I think the cheapest I found one was 63 bux. Ive never had a problem with my opening mechanism. The hammer is about 1 inch higher than it. I recently found out that mine was made in 1990, 20 years old. Iam only 4 years older than my favorite gun. Iam surprised mine doesnt look like hell. Ive taken it through the worst conditions and it never failed me. Sure a few Remington shells didnt fire, but thats cause some Remington shells suck noodles.

Anyone? I think I hear crickets.............

Marrok Is the name of a character in a book Iam in the works of writing. Despite finding out someone wrote a book similar to what I was writing (with nearly the same everything) I had to change ALOT of it. Other than that I just like the sound of the name.

My second post. I looked around and didnt seem like anyone else has one of these. I've owned this gun since I was about 6 years old. My dad bought it for me at a garage sale for $50, and after a bit of cleaning, I shot my first squirrel with it. The stock finish is really dulled in my opinion, and Iam thinkin of redoing it in Black. I love the walnut color, but I think some change is in order. Heres my baby, I would never part with this gun. Only way would be to pry it from me cold dead fingers, even then you'd have a hard time. 3" full bore.

Ok cool thanks again tick, I will do more searching and poking around on the forum. I am definitely getting this weapon. I told my father about them, and hes most likely going to order 2 of them (one for each of us).

Ok, when I get the 410 saiga model............damn theres alot of conversion possibilities.............. I Cobra 76's first picture (on the first page, second post) the middle conversion is just beautiful!! It reminds me of a Dragunov Sniper rifle.

Awesome thanks Tick. .410 Is my favorite gun, sure 12 gauge has more of a bang, since I have a messed up shoulder (hit a tree on a mountain bike at light speed lol) the 410 is easier on it. Now another tiny question, Ive found a pdf manual on the gun, and it says it can fire both 3" and 2 3/4" rounds. Is this true? I know the manuals really never lie, but I dont want a chunk of my face missing ya know?

Hey guys, Iam new here. After doing some research on Saiga 410's I have decided I want one, wait no NEED one. I have always owned 410's and have an old Harrington and Richardson Pardner model Ive owned since I was 6 or 7. So heres my thinkings. My uncle owns an old AK47 and showed me its easy to take apart for cleaning/fixing. Are these about the same? Whats the best ammunition to let fly from the barrel? Ive always used Remington ammunition in my H&R and never had problems. Thanks guys, Jeremy
