  1. I'm looking for a factory gas tube for the .223 ? anyone know where they can be purchased? searched google for a long time...but nothing...please e-mail me if you know where to get them..macsimonds@yahoo.com... to put this out like this but getting desperate. thanks for your time .
  2. The tapco mags fit ( but are loose) and feed with BG. they are less expensive , and lifetime warranteed! made in U.S.A and count as compliant parts , what's wrong with that? I've solicited Tapco to make the .223 mags for Saiga specificly , but I'm sure if they did , they would have the BG on it already. so never mind. I'm thinking about shrinking up the magwell area , so the tapco galil mags don't wobble.
  3. I have two of them now..I posted a while back about lobbying Tapco to make saiga specific ones..they work with a bullet guide just fine ..but have a bit of wobble , still function perfect.
  4. I got my H09 Saiga .223 , from Classic Arms Inc.com 349.00 then 20 shipping , and 20 to FFL dealer...not bad deal , all there Saigas . .223 , 7.62x39 and .308 all for 349. each!
  5. Tapco Galil mags are exceptable...they wobble a bit , if you grab them and force them to , but not while operating the rifle , even fully loaded , but you have to have a bullet guide...I've been lobbying Tapco to make a line of Saiga mags , but everyone needs to pitch in so they know there is an interest. BTW Tapco Galil mags are only 14 bucks each !
  6. I also bought a tapco Galil mag ,,it wobbles side to side , but it's an exceptable amount , the factory 10 rd wobbles a bit too. less , but still a bit. But it won't feed , I'll have to install a feed ramp. and then modify the factory 10 rd, if I ever want to use it ...this is why I have started this thread , to lobby Tapco to make specific mags for the Saiga .223. Please everyone that reads this , even if you don't have a .223 , but your a Saiga fan...please e-mail Tapco and tell them you'd like a line of mags for Saiga's all calibers. and with the tab to engage a LRBHO! Thank you for
  7. do they engage the LRBHO, or BHO , or hold the bolt open untill you drop the mag?
  8. 10-4 Dallas , my mistake customerservice@tapco.com if there are any questions if that is right, you can always visti the tapco web page, that is where I got it. , thank you for your help, Please everyone that reads this thread , go to Tapco and e-mail them, about making mags that are designed to fit the Saiga line of firearms. Are your sure the address is right? Shouldn't it be 'customerservice@tapco.com'? The address you gave above bails ugly (bounce with permanent error). Dallas
  9. I've read in other threads , here and elsewhere that the Tapco Galil .223 mags , fit , but they wobble, and you most likely will have to install a feed ramp.
  10. I have been e-mailing Tapco , at Tapco@customerservice.com for about 6 months , once a week , trying to suggest they make some mags for the .223, 410, 20 12 ..and .308, with emphasis on the .223 . I include to them details of , designing the mags with the tab to engage a Last Round Bolt Hold Open mechanism....Well they finally e-mailed me back , saying that they thought about it once before, but there didn't seem to be enough interest. So I'm here to try to get more people to e-mail Tapco , and suggest they too make the Mags , and if you do this , please urge them to include the tab that enga
