  1. No, they can do that anyway under the guise of "reasonable suspicion" with a no-knock entry. That would be your own fault for letting them in without a warrant.
  2. Question: Does owning an NFA weapon and having a tax stamp allow the feds to come into your home and check for said weapon at their whim?
  3. The red lacquer on the ammo has a tendency to stick in the chamber and make the diameter a wee bit smaller. Clean ASAP after range, or take a bore brush with you. That stuff is hard to get out if allowed to build up.
  4. Geissele SSA in both my Bushmaster 5.56 and DPMS LR308..... great trigger, not adjustable, more like designated marksman trigger. Greatly improved my grouping over stock in both rifles.
  5. Ruger 10/22..... I still have the first one my Dad bought me almost 40 years ago and I still shoot it a lot. You can't go wrong with one.
  6. Bolt Hold Open....... Pull bolt back, push button up. Bolt locks open
  7. It is more than tree huggers..... we have a few people (Gore, Soros, ect) who want to get filthy rich by implementing carbon taxes, forcing us into 3rd world status, while they continue to live their life high on the hog.
  8. I have shot the shit out of mine for 3 years now and no problems ever. Very reliable rifle.
  9. Does the round limit even apply to turkeys? I didnt think it did, although I dont turkey hunt. As far as the mag you can make a block for your factory 5 instead of cutting down a new mag. LOl..... I had to go look.. I think you are correct, at least in Ks anyway. I know I had to get one when hunting dove. That Tom will see me and a MD 20 next spring by God.
  10. My main turkey gun is a Mossberg 835 too. Great gun for turkeys.......but I mainly use 3" shells. I haven't used my Saiga for turkey hunting yet, but after dove hunting with it I can say without a doubt that you will have to get yourself a choke. The pattern gets real wide after about 25-30 yards without one. You have to have a pretty tight pattern for turkey unless you can call them in really close. I have often thought about getting one of the adjustable poly chokes to put on mine. You will also need to get a smaller capacity mag to be legal. They sell 2 rounders, or you can make your own by
  11. Encouraging news perhaps?? Gun Ownership Soars To 18 Year High: 47% Of Americans Admit To Owning A Gun Record-Low 26% in U.S. Favor Handgun Ban
  12. Eugenics anyone? "To you and I it may seem like insanity to want to get rid of more than 90 percent of the global population, but there is a growing consensus among the global elite that this is absolutely necessary for the good of the planet."
  13. "Why can't the gas port / block situation can't be sorted out and corrected at the factory ?" Why be hung up on such a trivial thing? People build them, people who probably don't give a shit.. especially on a Monday morning. We have the same problems here with our stuff too, what little we still make. I wanted one from the first time I saw one that had been converted, it was the most awesome shotgun I had ever seen. I love it and will never part with it. It is almost as fun building one as it is shooting it, although there is something about tearing the shit out of an old cable spool with
  14. Leapers (UTG) makes one that fits well and is a quality product. CTD has them. I have one on my WASR and it works/looks great. To answer your question, buy one of each. They both have their purpose. If you are on a very tight budget, I'd buy the Ak first - they are about half the cost of an AR.
