  1. that is very good info, sir. thank you!
  2. oh is that so? would i just leave the original in or what? im planning on getting a tapco g2 from dinzag, but on his site he says that they will need modification or something like that.. what does he mean by that?
  3. yeah i just took it off with my nail. i'm going to be converting the saiga soon, so from what i understand the AK doesn't have that lever so it will be gone... right(?)
  4. oh no shit.. i was at the range over the weekend and they require bolts be open while not shooting so i had to put a casing inside to hold the bolt open.. durr.. thanks guys!
  5. Sorry, definitely a noob question, but i couldn't find anything about it. I have a similar thing on my Mossberg 500 and i know what that does. On my saiga, however, it doesn't seem to do anything. The paint on it is peeling already though. Thanks!
  6. kinda in the same boat as the OP. have a question about the fcg though. the tapco g2.. single hook or double hook? whats the difference between the two. seen them on apex site and not really sure which one to get. also, would i have to modify the g2 in any way after i get it or not? thanks everyone!
  7. thats very good info. i took my new saiga (unconverted yet) to the range just this past saturday and it seemed like it was shooting slightly to the left at 50 and 25 yards (i have no scope either). maybe its my aim or slight wind that was going on, but i suspect it maybe the sights. where did you get the sight adjustment tool? also, you said "Tapco G2 trigger group ordered from dinzagarms: (hammer – modified to operate with bolt hold open level, trigger, disconnector – polished for lighter trigger pull, trigger pull feels better than stock now)".. now, was this modfied by dinzag or did
  8. so how do i break it in? just shoot the crap out of it then?
  9. ok thats what i thought. thank you for reconfirming that for me. i'll go out tomorrow and pop a couple hundred rounds through it to check for keyholing and such. appreciate the help!
  10. probably dumb question, but bear with me. i'm going to convert my 5.45, however i wanted to test fire it for the before and after to see if it performs the same. never converted any gun before so thats why i'm asking this. basically is it fine if i go shoot it or just wait til i convert it? thanks!
  11. try m-pro 7. best stuff to clean your gun. hoppe's is toxic junk. m-pro 7 conditions your gun, so with each time you use it your gun gets less fouling build up so its easier to clean it every time. my 2 cents.
  12. thats a nice setup man. i love the pistol grip. who makes it and where did you get it? also the guitar case is badass. where can i get one?
  13. i actually just bought a 5.45 last week and am trying to convert it. what were the exact basic things you had to get for it? i know i need a tapco fcg, pistol grip, stock... do i need a bullet guide as well? what else is there that i would need to get as far as screws etc for the basic conversion? also, does yours accept standard milspec mags? thanks a lot!
  14. how much would it cost to convert a regular Saiga if i were to buy it to something like the above?
