  1. You have WAAAAAAYYYYY more options then that. Try Tromix.com, also FBMGINC.com they stock tromix conversions as well as unconverted.
  2. I'm just guessing but I would say that he is using a laser bore sight. Its a laser that is cenered in a false round that you chamber.
  3. Some say his work is good but most have said it was bad. Maybe Dave is starting to take quality hints from the forums, maybe he needs to take the customer care hints. There was some postdavepretony pics of one that someone sent to tony that dave slung together.
  4. I had Tony do a 12" for me. I still have 3 to 5 months left before I can pick it up from my class3 dealer. It is absolutly killing me. I have never even shot a saiga 12 yet. I had it shipped straight to Tony from a Gunbroker purchase. Tony got it done very quickly but now Uncle Sam has to give his go ahead. I can't wait. I'm dyin here for real.

    FN PS90 SBR

Do you have a link. I would like to see one of these. I curious how the mag would work or go in the gun.
  6. DAVE STRICKS AGAIN!!! Sorry to here it, I would be pissed! The good stories about Dave and his work are few and far between. There are many horror stories on this and other forums ,including pics, about Dave. Lies, shitty work, swapping your good parts out for cheap ones, lies, and delays. I noticed he pulled all his auctions off of Gunbroker a few weeks ago. It won't take you to much looking on here to verify all this and more. If you payed with a postal money order, It is a felony is he tries to cheat you. Hope you get it straightened out.

    FN PS90 SBR

The fn p90 has no gas system it is a straght blow back system like a 10/22 so you may have to replace the spring. look in to gem-tech they have the proper speiifications for the barrel threads as they make a suppresor for that gun PS what color is your plastic on the gun? thank you for your time Thanks for the info, I haven't looked into the mechanics of the weapon yet. The color is green but I'm going to dye it black. It is a pretty easy process with factory quality results.

    FN PS90 SBR

There is more to it than that. The thing is that It would be a NFA item when he was done. All rifles with a barrel shorter than 16in that has a stock requires a $200 tax stamp. Tony would have to file a form with the gov to make it a registered SBR before he could do the work or at least put the barrel back on. Also it might need the gas system modified for the shorter barrel, but I don't know.

    FN PS90 SBR

I just bought a new FN PS90. I'm going to talk to Tony about making it a 10.7in SBR like the original. So if you see this, Tony, before I get you, "What do you think?" Do you think the gas system would need modified? Have you ever shot one of these? If anyone else knows about this please step in. Thanks, MikeD
  10. So other than stomping on his post, what's your point? When someone stomps a for sale post it's like saying, " Man. I'm really jealous because I don't have the money, And I hate you because you do! Grow up and get a job thread stompers.
  11. If you ask me, the combined cost of a knoxxs drum and a steel 10 rd mag would be to much just to lower the profile of the loaded saiga. You could buy a few 10rd mags for what you would have in the drum. Also the whole idea of converting the drums was to hold 10rds and this will be solved with the new mags.
  12. Positive for Telly458!! If he says he wants it, he does. Thanks for the fast payment.
  13. Positive for HKahlig , Very fast payment. If he says he wants it, trust he does. Thanks, MikeD
  14. Last 2 sold pending funds. I'll let you know if it falls thru. MikeD
  15. 2 Left, sold 2 more today at the Bill Goodman Gun & Knife.
  16. Might be easier just to buy one of these deals: Heard it didn't do too well in military testing... For me... I'll just stick with my Tromix slug stick I believe that is the xm-26, I can't say for sure though, they made a few model like that that look the same. They aren't avaliable to the public and untop of that they arn't semi-automatic, their boltaction. And like you said, they didn't do well. A 8inch barrel tromix would be reliable, legal, semi......
  17. Tony said that he could probably do it but doesn't think there would be enough people that would want one. It would be heavy but very cool. You could more than likly be able to reattach a stock and use it as a stand alone. If someone wasn't worried about it being a stand alone they wouldn't need to do the pg conversion, just the short barrel conversion. Really you could still use it as a stand alone by putting the original stock back on or one of those stock replacing pg. Anyways, I think I'm going to go for it around mid summer. I'm not sure what to have it attach to, a AK or AR?????
  18. Positive for Crockett , Very fast payment. If he says he wants it, trust he does. Thanks, MikeD
  19. I spoke with Tony and he said that it probably won't fly. He said that probably wouldn't work to good in a AK either.
  20. I'am wondering if you might be able to use one of Tony Rumore's 8inchers to mount under a Ar or Ak. Something like the xm-26. But the saiga would be semi and have bigger mags. It would be sweet. I'm going to ask Tony about it and see what he thinks. It might be that you could switch it out as a stand alone and a underbarrel.
