SAIGA 12 for Securtiy Job
GREYLUPO replied to I Am The LAW's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
I didnt read any books or anything I was making it up on the spot. I was getting a good chuckle out of it. I was just sitting here and all of a sudden decided to do it. Dogmans pic with, "I needs me a saigy twelb" cracked me up. I think I actually wrote a pretty good motivational speech I AM THE LAW ____ I consider myself a warrior and I live a warriors life. I wake up in the morning and do at least 30 pushups and situps and sometimes body squats too. I have never been in the military as I feel my skills and mindset are better suited for the public sector. I have lierall -

I didnt want to be too much like gecko45, so I tried to make it a tad believable. Some of the responses made me LOL for real. It was all in good fun. -

Ha Ha Sorry guys I was bored and tought Id have some fun -
Ive already talked to Red Jacket, they said if I email them the # they will look it up and if they did it they will send me a letter stating its an offical Red Jacket firearm and signed by WH. Thats pretty cool
-
Its cool but when it comes to guns I stick with whats been proven and works and not what looks cool for mall ninja types. If you want a pump gun, stick with Remington or Mossberg. Police and Military around the world use them for a reason. Do you really think any kind of professional will choose a first run Kel Tech shotgun over a Remington or Mossberg FOCK NO!!!!!!!!!
-
I want the gun but If I dont/cant keep it forever I might need to sell it so so having a doc stating that it is indeed a Red Jacket Saiga it will be worth more. If you sell Saiga 12's to the public saying that they were built by Red Jacket you should be able to prove it. Whats stopping someone from doing a conversion and then saying, its a Tromix or a Red Jacket? It might just be a dude in his garage in Jersey or something.

Thanks for the input datrowl. Im wondering if I can call Red Jacket, give them the serial number and have them trace it. They must keep records and if I can get a signed doc by Will stating he did indeed do the conversion, that would be focking awesome.
-
Thats what Im thinking. My only concern is its not Red Jacket marked. How do I know the guy didnt do it himself and mess it up? I want the gun to run right

I got more info. It was a converted S12 sold through Atlantic firearms. They said it was converted by Will Hayden of red Jacket but its not red jacket marked. This was also bought before Will got "famous" so It might be legit. he also said that he could call AF, give them the serial number and have documentation sent out.

I sold my unconverted S12 last week to buy lots of .308. I really miss it now. I happen to come across a small local dealer who says he has a NIB unfired converted Red Jacket S12 that was built by them in 2007. He wants $1650 for it but I can get him to go to $1500 or maybe even $1400 if I have cash in hand. Is this a good deal? I have not seen it yet but he is sending pics later and Im sure I can look at it if I asked. He has it "put away". Are the Red Jacket S12s from this date just as good as the new ones? If it is a real Red Jacket S12 can I expect it to run like a bunny out of

It only has 50 years of duty use to catch up too!

Who said I was in the Army? You had better be/been in the Army or Marines cause a large majority of posts I read by you, you talk like you were actually in some spec ops group or something and if you were not youre the biggest poser I have ever seen. Im ex military also and so are alot of my friends and family and I dont usually hear them talking alot about it like a know it all military consultant. Air Force actually but probably been to as many Army schools as most Army personnel. Does that count? You don't have to be Army, USMC, or a SEAL to have boots on the ground

In that vid it looked like that 9mm had .40 recoil. Im a .45 guy myself. I just picked up a new FN 45 that holds 16 big ol .45 -
About 2 days ago they showed pics of the Seal teams holding them on the news, not all but some, so people assumed. Id like to think he took a 7.62 to the face You really think that they took in a 308 for a cqb assault? Sure, I would. If I knew I was raiding a compound that might have armed and/or armored guards Id rather have a 7.62 than a 556. I guessing a large mix of weapons were used. Im talking about the SCAR H with the 14 inch barrel. The recoil impulse is comparable to a .223. My 17 has half of the recoil of my FAL I had. The rifle is truly a work of art and functio

You better not get into a fender bender or this could happen to you -
No details of that mission have been released but you happen to know what particular weapon was used to kill him? Did you read where I wrote supposedly or were you too busy being in the Army? It was speculation, I also read that he was killed in an airstrike, and that he was armed and went down fighting, and that he used his wife as a human shield and all of that was false so who knows.
