  1. I always wondered if whatever shotgun that was in the opening of Alien Nation was a real product that accepted a drum like that or just a prop. I was just thinking/wondering about it the other day too. It looked like a regular pump or auto, but they then switched to the drum when the two detectives interrupted their heist and started shooting through the car they were using as cover. AFAIK, Knoxx didn't come out with their drum conversion until the 2000's, well after the movie came out. And theirs is not switchable on the fly either. I remember first seeing the 12ga Saiga's in CDNN ar
  2. No new posts in awhile this must be a boring ass read either that or nobody gives a shit
  3. Who has the most expensive / valuable Saiga 12? Prices are through the roof right now, that is if you can find one for sale .
  4. We have over 26,000 members and this topic only gets 31 different posters....pathetic!
  5. why the hell would you want a rubber saiga when you could have two actual shotguns for the same price or less. minus that overpriced drums for my money i would much rather have md arms drums.
  6. think I'm gonna try and get that movie right now. 50 said "say-guh" how do you say it?
  7. Excellent point GREYLUPO, but maybe he didn't know any better? I do realize that is a bold assumption and most likely wrong though. He was probably too hammered from all the Kalashnikov vodka and forgot to mention it, that is more likely.
  8. I guess you can always use your stick mag as a fore grip like the Spetsnaz. You just cant do that with a drum, although they probably never even seen MD Arms drum before
  9. by the way sunnybean your avatar is second place to xxINFIDELxx's avatar. I did find this though booty competition
  10. Ah...the good ol'days. I bought mine from gunbroker converted and ready to shoot for $650 shipped back back in september for my bday. If i want a good present i must buy it myself and i did. I think i got a pretty fair price considering, either way i couldn't be happier. Now I'm just waiting for my Ice Rack to come back from Pauly and then i think i want to put on a Titan from Chaos if I ever get a chance to see one in person first. One step at a time though...
  11. For me the first time I heard the about a Saiga 12, I was watching the show Deadliest Warrior and it was love at first sight. A magazine (or drum) fed 12 gauge how bad ass is that? Now I know first hand, It is a beast and by far my favorite gun. On the show the Russian Spetsnaz used the import legal version, I don't know how accurate that is but they did have some interesting techniques including using the magazine for a fore grip and rolling around on the ground to gain a tactical advantage. Anyway I was hooked and from that moment on I have been thinking about the Saiga shotgun pretty much a
  12. Where did you did get that dust cover?
  13. I'd need a 4 gauge to make that work for me!! Blunderbuss Baby!
  14. I must of got a POS because my box was in good shape and inside the barrel was shiny clean. As far as the scratches go, get over it!
  15. Here is a helpful picture I found comparing the design and size of each. Side by side there is not as much of a difference as I thought. I can see why the original AFG is discontinued. I'm still think about a folding VFG, to me it seems more functional.

  17. I started this because there does not seem to be a lot of existing posts reviewing the AFG's. In most of the photos that I found of Saiga's with this style grip it is the original AFG. Why is that? I just read somewhere that the AFG will be discontinued and the AFG2 will be taking its place. So I want to know which is the best grip and why? Tell me about your experience, so I don't waste my money. Thanks
  18. my local wally world has the PDX1 12 gauge for $12.47 per box. That is the best price i have seen on these.
  19. for the record I'm not affiliated with this company, I just like what they can do. I will be having them do some work for me in the near future. But now that i understand the rules, it seems that this forum needs a company to step up that offers this type of service because it is pretty damn cool
  20. What happened to my original post? These guys can do some pretty awesome work to your guns
  21. I think this looks bad ass, I want one. I'm just going to wait until it available before I get my hopes up, no preorder for me I have better things to do with my money right now. When this is out and assuming it works as good as it looks I will gladly buy another Saiga 12 to have a bullpup version
  22. The only problem the factory BHO has ever given me, (besides the fact that is is in a poor spot for those of us with converted Saigas) is when I accidentally pushed it in too far and its was stuck inside the gun. It was a simple fix I just used the tip of my pocket knife and it popped back out and now that I know this can happen, it doesn't. I say leave your BHO in its better than nothing.
