  1. I use a SeeAll open sight as a 45deg offset backup optic on my AR15. It is a solid piece of hardware and really bridges the gap between red dot and irons. It is as fast as a red dot only requires two points of allignment (target and reticle). It is also rugged and battery free. This is essentially a rework of the old OEG design. Occluded eye gunsights completely obscure the target and require binocular vision to combine the target image and the sight reticle. The SeeAll is like an OEG cut in half. The bottom portion of the target is obscured by the reticle as with iron sights but t
  2. Ive got of the uinta mags for my s308 and they are fantastic. I had an issue with a few of the followers being slightly warped, but customer service was excellent and we got it all worked out.
  3. Macbeau, thanks for that info. I was just trying to brainstorm and see if there was a simpler solution. I guess I'll just have to give up a little more time and money and do it right. BTW How much did you spend on the total process of adding the flash hider.
  4. Alright I've got a new to me converted 16" S 308. I think the gun is just about the perfect MBR, but it needs a flash hider. Has anyone had a flash hired welded onto the end of the front sight base? The fsb already extends beyond the muzzle. Does anyone see any potential broblems with removing the fsb welding on a FB and reinstalling? I don't intend to ever use a sound supressor, so allignment doesn't have to be absolutley perfect, and its not going to be a brake so again perfect allignment shouldn't be too big of a deal. Let me know what you guys think.
  5. Here's my Saiga 308 that I got for an absolute steal. I modded the hand guard, and need to get some sort of aperture sight. The only problem is that there isn't much work left to do to it.
  6. Well, as a testament to the helpful information on this forum. Here is my first post. This is my first saiga conversion:
