  5. i bought my Saiga12 local, B.M.G. in Newington, CT, the people over there are fuckin awesome by the way, but as far as online I bought my iz240 from atlanticfirearms.com, great service over there + very fast shipping, placed my order on a thursday afternoon and the package arrived at my FFL the following monday morning
  6. Here she is. The conversion took a little while longer than my Ak74. Due to Connecticuts bullshit gun laws a pistol grip isn't an option so I had to go the dragunov route. For future reference: If you plan on using the ATI Fiberforce stock make sure you get the Tromix trigger guard because the CSS trigger guard is way too thick, it doesn't allow the buttstock to sit flush against the receiver. Unfortunately I bought the CSS trigger guard and being way too impatient to wait around another week I went ahead and tried to make some modifications. This was the hardest part, and after two hours I sa
  7. Yeah I just saw that earlier before my last post, thats why I'm not posting any video. I had no idea at the time. I didn't think the 922r compliance rules came into play until after you moved the trigger group foward. Now I know
  8. Just got back from the range, this baby is a fucking beast!! I will never get bored of shooting my new favorite toy! I started off with the gas plug on setting 1 and shot 25 rounds of Winchester 3" 000 buck with no problems. Switched the plug to setting 2, loaded up some Federal bulk and it went like this: One shot, FTE, two shots, FTE, and from there on out it ran the rest of 297 rounds flawlessly. I would post some video but do not want to offend anybody. Now its off to the liqour store and starting the conversion Saiga-12: Greatest invention ever
  9. I picked up my Saiga-12 this afternoon, 19 inch '08 model (H08405XXX) and she is beautiful! First things first, The MD-20 wouldn't lock in out of the box, but after some filing let me tell you this thing fits more snug then any other mag for any rifle I own! I then immediately installed the gas tube cover from Cobra and secured the charging handle from Tromix with loc tite. I will be doing the full conversion tomarrow night and be back with some more pictures. Now for my question.. when I removed the gas plug the puck fell out, after checking to see how many gas ports I have (3 ports unobst

    Uh Oh...

What the fuck is a destructive device? How do they define it, and why can't I own one? Land of the "Free" Home of the Slave.
  11. I'm also interested in the auto plug from Tac47.I did a search and found a ton of information, but not much feedback on the auto plug its self. From what I can find the majority of people who said that they bought one and would report back later never did.
  12. That is one of the greatest videos I've ever seen in my fucking life!!!! Great job What kind of brake were you using in the clip with the ring of fire?
  13. That is fucking amazing!!!
  14. It bears a resemblance, but it ain't a Voodoo Tactical. It could very likely be manufactured by the same factory though, just without the extras that make the VT a better bag. E.g. Exposed stitching vs Covered, equals a more durable bag. ................................................................................. ................................ Voodoo Tactical, 42", Double Rifle, $54.95 $59.95 EDIT: Guess the price went up... Bummer. Where did you find that for $59.99? That thing is bad ass man I need one asap
  15. i can sell you the sporter stock off of my saiga 12 for $20
  16. I just got an email dated about an hour after my first post, saying they are in the middle of moving so I can understand that. Also got my tracking info a couple hours after that.. awesome, I really had my mind set on the chaos rails
  17. I picked up one of these fiberforce stocks for my saiga12 at cabelas last week
  18. By far the best experience I've had ordering stuff online
  19. I saw a preview for sons of guns the other night on TV.. AWESOME
  20. Wish I saw this earlier.. people waiting months for packages and viruses in the system (is my credit card number safe?) worries me. I placed an order for the chaos tri-rails on monday, the order went through but It still hasnt shipped I dont think. I sent an email yesterday asking for a tracking number, still no response. (did it go to your spam folder?) I need the rails by next thursday so If I dont hear anything by this friday I will be cancelling my order and taking my buisness elsewhere.
  21. I say first because I plan on doing more, man this shit is addicting! The conversion went nice and smooth. The whole thing took about about 3 hours, 6 beers and half pack of newports with a couple of breaks and waiting for the touch up paint to dry. I kept the BHO and was suprised how easy it was to install the BHO spring. The safety had to be filed down a small amount for the new trigger to function. The back end of the gas tube also had to be filed down for the lever to close. All in all it was an awesome experience, I'm gunna be getting a Saiga 12 next and I'm confident I'll be able to bang
  22. I bought a few 45 round Bulgarian mags and would just like to make sure I will be in compliance while using these mags. When I convert my IZ 240 I will be replacing the following with US made parts: (11) Triggers (12) Hammers (14) Disconnectors (15) Buttstock (17) Forearms, handguards Which leaves me with the following foreign parts: (1) Receiver (2) Barrels (4) Mounting blocks, trunnion (rifles only) (6) Bolts (7) Bolt carriers (9) Gas pistons (18) Magazine bodies (19) Followers (20) Floorplates That's 9 foreign parts including the magazine, correct? Am I good
