  1. We got to the range for some trigger time. I wanted to bust my cherry with the Firebird extended mag and forearm. Check out the vid! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0Xe385a7mo&feature=plcp
  2. After saving my pennies and checking the couch for loose change I called Firebird in May for one of their extended mags. Nancy at Firebird told me they had one of their trick forearms available for purchase as well. She also said that they wouldn't be having the forearms made as a milled out hunk of aluminum anymore and that any new ones when they were available would be cast. So I snapped one of those up too and in a move to save a little green I had her hold the forearm till the magazine was done and please ship them together. After a few calls for the order status and several weeks passing
  3. I live less than a dozen miles as the crow flies, from a shooting range I belong to. It's open at some really odd times. Closed Monday and Wednesday, Open Tuesday 10 till 4. Thursday, Friday 12 to 7. And Sat and Sunday 10 til 5. Making it up as I drove along the c
  4. Whew! I don't wanna be known as the guy who pissed Tony off! I just wanna make my Akdal all it can be!!
  5. This "Dickhead" has withdrawn the post. I'll be more careful where and what I post in the future.
  6. The first post included this little tidbit of information "During this time i also had the bolt go home as i inserted several magazines". I experienced this as well. I'm wondering is this a problem? How big of a problem? When I'm jammin mags in and I'm hot on the range, sending lead downrange, is the automatic (seems like) release of the bolt after seating a mag unsafe? I guess it is.. I hate to send my shiny new AR-12 off to have warranty work done so soon but it looks like it may be a common problem. Anyone else care to weigh in on this?
  7. Finally!! Please please pleeese make them for Akdals too!
