  1. you have two options (in my opinion, since its an AK) slant break, or 74 style break
  2. if u want to keep ur grips from heating up, invest in wood furniture for ur SGL, trust me it helps, plus makes it look very authentic
  3. Most shooters cannot out shoot a good AR. You never realized how accurate it was until what, getting trigger time behind an AK? i guess thats what it took for me, but my saiga is not finished yet, so i gotta change out the FSB and sight leaf on it, so its not zeroed yet till that's done
  4. oh my god! i shot my old AR today, the one that i sold, i was teaching the guy how to use it, i never realized how accurate it was, but i still am so happy that i do not have it anymore, please dont take this the wrong way
  5. A lot of the questions you have right now will be answered when you have the weapon in hand. The cuts are already in the receiver and when you take the bottom plate off you will uncover this. If you try to put a standard AK mag in the receiver, you will see what part of the mag catch doesn't fit that needs to be filed. 7. i want to find a ribbed cover for my 7.62, but i tried my friend cover from a Romanian Draco pistol, it fits, but not snug, and when you cycle the action, something hits on the inside, plus its serialized, any advice?
  8. does not a cover become loose (or move at all) with time, so doesn't that make the optic kinda useless?
  9. You've taken your first step into a much larger world, young Skywalker Which Saiga are you going to get first? I have already posted a few posts about my Saiga 7.62 that i'm converting to AKM, did the pistol grip, now changing out the FSB, Gas block and putting on the lower hand guard retainer, waiting to get it back from gun smith, as soon as i get it back, imma put a 14x1 LH thread on and put a slant break on, than maybe i'll get a ribbed cover for it to give it the last authentic looking piece
  10. Yes, of course, i loved my M16 in the military, and i loved my AR-15 as a civilian, but i think its time to move on to the Rock solid AK now
  11. I have had the AR for a year or so, and ever since i bought a saiga 7.62 and my friend bought an SGL21 i wanted to compare the AR vs AK, and to me there is no comparison, night and day. And i finally got rid of it
  12. i got a PM (makarov), Saiga 7.62, soon will get a Tigr, and a Saiga 12, i sold my kimber and AR, and I'm so happy with the decision now
