Well I got the rifle taken apart today, got the stock off, the trigger guard off and the trigger group out. Now I can get to someone who has a drill press on sunday, so should I wait to put on the new stock, move the FCG forward, install the new trigger guard and install the pistol grip until I put the bullet guide in? Or should I just go ahead and put it together and use the drill press to drill and thread the bullet guide on sunday ?

I have, it came out just like on any ak.....was a little tight but not overly difficult to remove.
