  1. start by looking at carolinashooterssupply.com or Mississippi firearms. Both have excellent customer service and I highly recommend them. if they are out of stock, check out gunbroker.com. they will have the moat competitive pricing
  2. Not particularly worried about co-witnessing, but rather, would like to use the irons through the sight. I think that might be possible with the reflex but not with the red dot. I'm running a UTG quad but I don't think that allows for co-witnessing.
  3. This might have been posted in the wrong area. can a mod move it to optics
  4. Alright gentlemen, I've recently converted my saiga and am looking for a new optic. I've decided to go with primary arms based on all the reviews I've gone over. Now I'm just torn on which one to get. First is the micro red dot: Second is the micro green dot reflex sight: Anyone have any opinions on either one? Would the red dot be better as I could add a magnifier later?
  5. More on this beauty! What kind of forearm is that? What about flash suppressor? It's very awesome!
  6. Fantastic write up. Do you still need a bullet guide with these mags?
  7. I really hate to bump a year old thread but I also hate to start new threads. Does the beryl style mount work with a converted saiga with the tang cut off?
  8. Not to hijack, but Yeoldetool, what kind of round is that in your revolver in your avatar picture?
  9. Keep playing with it. Push it in until it's seated on the front, then a hard whack on the back should push it down and allow the button to seat in the opening.
  10. Looking for .223 magazines 10r or larger. I have a Renegadebuck AR mag adapter for trade and a few AR mags. Why am I trading the adapter? I don't have the tools or the time to fit it, otherwise it's great.
  11. But my issue is everything fits great without any grinding of the trunion. The mag slides in fine, chambers a round and we are good to go. I was curious if this has happened to anyone before. I thought you said the only mag that functioned was the modified one?.... I did say that but evidently I am an idiot. After messing around with it, I noticed that the magazine wasn't fully seated up and in the mag well. Now that it is, it is loading the round fine. Thanks for everyones help

  13. Morning gents, I received the renegadebuck adapter for my .223. I've been doing some test fitting with the gun and everything seems to fit fine with no modification. Is this normal? Could I have received a gun that requires no fitting? The gentleman whom I bought it from also gave sent along an AR mag. It seems to be modified a bit, the metal lip has been cut down, but it chambers a round just fine. I picked up some cheapy AR mags (I know, bad idea) and they don't seem to be chambering the round. Is it because they are cheap or because I do need to modify something. Either way, all 3 mags fit
  14. Hi James, You must have the bolt open when loading your firearm with our mags. If you want to load the firearm leaving the mag in than load the mag with 9 rounds. Regards; SGM TACTICAL LLC Tech Department The response I received from SGM. Now that I think about it, it makes perfect sense.
  15. Thanks for all the help guys. I've sent Surefire an email asking them what they think. I don't think it's a dire situation, more of an annoyance. I think I'll be heading the AR adapter route but this has been a good learning/mod experience. I'll probably clip the spring and see what happens.
