  1. We do have rail systems in the works... Bring it! Been holding out for the right one. And also gonna go order a stainless piston. And please don't raise the prices on the 20 rd drum, because I am going to buy 1 or 2 more here in a couple months!
  2. Waiting to hear from chemist. Pending funds I will sell to him, if not, then you're next in line. I'll let you know. only the rail, no sights.
  3. Sold pending funds. UPDATE: FOR SALE! Buyer had some issues.
  4. Bought a Chaos Extended Quad Rail, kind of on impulse. I decided that I'm going to save some money up and wait for the Titan to come out and replace the Quad system that I have now. I installed the Rail less than a week ago. Have not taken the gun outside or put any rounds through it. This thing is BRAND NEW! Didn't really bother taking any pictures, go to chaos.us if you're interested in some better pictures. Wanting to sell this for $105 Shipped.
  5. Haha, yee of little faith. I feel pretty comfortable w/DIY projects and to say the least that wasn't the 1st tool I've had in my hands. But yes was a bit nerve racking.
  6. Looks pretty slick, interested to see how the final product turns out. keep us posted!
  7. A lot of people are going to tell you start off w/high brass stuff (slugs, buckshot, etc.) This is a good idea, but also can get expensive. If you have the money then go with that first, or get some higher velocity stuff >1300 FPS and run that 1st. Then get some Federal bulk at walmart (the cheap stuff) and run that after to see how your gun shoots. I started off w/slugs thru mine, I think 30 rounds, then I had some higher brass stuff after that, then I put the Federal bulk through it. At first a couple of the slugs didnt even eject. after about 120 rounds alltogether, she warmed up a
  8. I second the quad rail. Ordered this from Cameron and crew last week. This thing is a MUST HAVE for any Saiga-12 Owner. These things fit the gun well and are made of some serious material. Wish I would have had the money to buy one w/the sights already. Maybe I can get a discount on the sights...... Either way, don't go with anything else. You will not regret the Chaos Rail. Oh and hey Cameron, when are you gonna release the rail for the 7.62?
  9. That little of weight doesn't really have that much to do with the decreased recoil. The muzzle brake diverts the gas away from the shooter basically.
  10. I have an idea. Don't buy them at all. As the general public, everyone needs to refuse to pay outrageous prices, then we'll see if they like them just sitting around. Of course there will always be those people that just like getting ripped off. That's just offensive. Bought mine from k-var for $540, around a month ago. When I see the prices go up that fast. It makes me not trust the website and not even want to buy anything from them anymore.
  11. Update: FSB Removed! Did just a hair more cutting on one side, then heated it up with the torch and was able to knock it off rather easy. FSB came off in one piece. And no cuts or anything on the barrel.
  12. Well i'm just gonna have to take it easy and hope i don't cut into the barrell.
  13. Yes I read that sticky in the 5.45 section. Deeper....that makes me nervous. I don't have a chisel at the moment i took a screwdriver to it and pounded it. I guess I'll try to go deeper. Will there be a gap inbetween the FSB and the barrel, so I can tell if I'm cutting into the barrel?
  14. Trying to removeFSB. 1st tried drilling out the two places on either side where it is pressed on. No luck at all in pounding it off. So I went and bought a dremel today and started cutting. Cut as far down as I felt comfortable on either side of the barrell. I do not want to hurt that barrel. Pounding the heck out of this thing and it DIDN'T BUDGE. What can I do to get this thing off w/out hurting the barrel? I need help here.
  15. From the album: Ammo

  16. +1 for Dinzag. I ordered mine last week.
  17. Thank you for the replies man you are a life saver! Don't worry I am not rushing into anything, that is why I'm asking so many questions. I also ran into the Ace front sight block that seems to install a lot easier. little more bulky then I want maybe though. I will get in touch w/Rifle Dynamics and see what they got. Do they sell JUST the front sight block alone? If you don't mind PM me that other info on the guy who does it custom too, that would be awesome. Really appreciate your help KC. thank ya sir
  18. Where can I find a FSB like this one? Will this allow for the Ultimak rail? thank ya'll
  19. I don't see the big deal. If they're banned, just move to Russia. Pretty simple if you ask me.
  20. Alright. Thanks for the reply! I have another question also. If I go with the first one will I still be able to install the Ultimak Scout also?
  21. I am wanting to remove my FSB and put on one that looks like this. I need some help on exactly what I need though. I've been looking for the right one on k-var but am having troubles. Do I need one like or one like this How exactly do they go on? just slide over the barrel? I want to keep this as cheap as possible. I also intend on installing Juggernauts brake and possibly a Texas Weapons gas tube w/rail on it. Any guidance and pictures of yours and how you did it would be great. Thank you all for your help!
