Working on my first saiga conversion. Saiga 12 with BHO purchased last year. From the pics you can see that the left side of the safety is hitting part of the Tapco TG. Wanted to post here for advice before I got the dremel out. Thanks in advance for help!

I ordered a TULA kit from RGUNs last night so up this morning trying to find mags and ammo for 5.45. Placed an order for one of these mag/pouch deals. Picked up a S12 a few months ago ($549) and already have a CSS conversion kit w/o the stock. Plan to put on a folding stock and after deciding the AK100 solid folders is going to take too much modification for my first conversion and have been looking at the Tromix. Searched around on this forum and the Tromix forum to hear others opinions on how much less recoil is felt on the tromix with the limbsaver installed. Plan to install the stock so it will fold. I like the look of the Tromix without the limbsaver installed but if that addition greatly decreases recoil it is probably worth it. T

I really like the look of the ak100 solid folding stocks but am torn between and the changes and expense to do it to my 12 versus just putting on a ace or tromix stock.

Jamesmadison, did you tryto get the pad on the ak100 side folder and get it to lock in the open position? I really want to put the same setup on my s12 but starting to think the ak100 stock without the pad will hammer my shoulder and with the pad might not lock up? Anyone got a pic of the ak100 with recoil pad mounted on a s12? Thanks!

I emailed KVAR last week and got a reply saying none of the stock they are selling would fit the S12. Here is what I asked KVAR... "Which of your solid side folding stocks will fit a converted saiga 12? Somethjing close to our Black Polymer Butt stock but will fold. Thanks!!!" Here is what I got back: None of them right now will work Elias El Khoury Sales
