One of my local shops said they stopped importing them 3 weeks ago, and another shop said he couldnt get any and probably wouldnt be able too cause the BATF was blocking the "stamp" of approval for more imports. I Also called Atlantic and they told me they had no idea if/when they might get some because the BATF was causing blockages. The one place I called who had any type of positive info was Mississippi Auto Arms ...fella on the phone says he think there will be a batch in a month or so and prices will come down.

Atlanstic doesnt have any, and they told me over the phone that they have no idea when they might get some. Its hard to find a S-12 on GunBroker for undre 800 and alof of the 100% stock S-12's are even selling for close to $900 in the auctions. When K-Var had their last recent batch for under $600 I was going to buy two... then of course they sold-out in less than two days (a day before I had my $$$ ready; man I was bummed) Finally I searched around and found a classidied Ad on AR15.com ...some company I never heard of said they had a few @$750. I just went ahead and bit the bullet on on

I called K-Var and they are all gone. They don't know when they'll get more.

I just called my local gun shop to see what he could do & how much ....he says "Uhh they quite importing them about 3 weeks ago" I sincerely hope he is mis-informed!!!

Ah OK, K-Var must have recently got them in... The S-12 is also listed under "New Arrivals / Back in Stock"

For the last week that I've been serious about buying... i've been looking all over and couldnt find ANYTHING available except for sites like GunBroker. & on those sites you're lucky to get one for less than $800 shipped. I swear I checked K-Var several times & they havent had them (but maybe I'm confusing the availability with another Ak variant I'm buying) Anyways... for Under $600 I'm feeling like thats a good buy. AHHH Wow LOL! ....I wasnt even close! Thats VERY obvious haha Funny thing... I don't think I ever even seen the low-brass stuff before. I hear lots of talk about high-brass & low-brass while reading subject about cycling function with different types of ammo *What exactly are your guy's definition of High-brass & low-brass? *Are you talking about Velocity of the ammo, or pellet size, or both? Forgive me if theres an obvious answer to my question. I havent had much experience with shotguns (except for my Rem 870 pump that shoots anything). ...I'm just trying to learn as much as I can before I get my S-12 next week. Thanks!
