Magpul is a great company, and makes some of the best AR stuff out there, IMHO. My AR's are pretty much Magpul from stock to handguard, and I applaud the way they are handling this situation in CO. I sincerely hope they do not have to move, which would mean the bill fails to pass the CO Senate. Leglislation like this passing in a state like CO would be seen as a huge victory for the Obama Admininstration, given the fact that VP Biden is heavily involved in this state matter.

Good post Remek. It is not just a Colorado issue, although they seem to be on the front lines right now. I would love to see Magpul fight back and win, especially against a democratically controlled congress in Colorado. It would add strength to the message being sent by other firearms and weapons related manufacturers. It is frustrating to need/want something and know that it is proabably not going to be available for a while. However, imagine what the consequences had been if this panic had not happened. Alot of fear mongering right now by the left. The problem is that well educated, good intentioned people will believe every word of it, just as they believed every word of every speech Obama has given. They are too lazy to actually look into it themselves and rely soley on what NBC or CBS tells them. Sad.

That is a great deal, but appears to be sold. I'm with Maxwelhse, really want to get a VEPR, but I was more leaning toward the x39 version simply because I am stocked up on ammo and mags. Changing calibers right now is tough, but the x54 rounds are available and cheaper than than just about any other, just as long as you don't mind corrosive. Hoping by summer the market will at least bring them down under 1k. I would buy one at that price point. I think Atlantic Firearms had them for around 7-800 last summer.

Could not agree more. Everyone hates traffic cops, even other cops. But that is the cop that everyone sees because they are the most visible. Then you have the ones that were picked on throughout high school and now they are "the man". No one likes them either, especially other cops. Then you have officers who are former military, or played ball in college. These are the "good guys", but you will rarely ever see them because they don't write tickets all day.
