  1. I'm not convinced they out number us, in fact I think it's the opposite BUT, they are better organized and do less squabbling amongst themselves. They close ranks around "the cause" and are active politically. We, on the other hand are busy working, raising our children and living our lives. We consider politics a necessary evil, they live for it. We believe in fair play and that the truth will win out in the end, they believe in creating their own truth and imposing their will by any means necessary. Only until we band together and close ranks as they do will we have a chance again
  2. I'm not adverse to "programs" but what I think will work is just talking to people you know....and ask them to talk to people they know etc., etc. I think people are becoming desensitized to clever slogans and slick ad campaigns. I'm talking about serious, heart to heart talks...face to face. I did some of this during the last gun control push asking friends and family to send emails and make phone calls. In 2014 all we're talking about is doing one thing on one day. Also I think much of what is coming out about real examples of government tyranny, the IRS and Justice Department sc
  3. I've been doing some poking around on this, left a few phone messages and lo and behold I got an in depth phone message reply today that stated yes, in fact Enidine called their distributors shortly after Newtown and told them they would no longer manufacture the Shot Shock tube. The caller told me that Enidine said they would fulfill outstanding orders but would cease production of the tube once this was done. My, my.... I'm not sure if what spooked them into throwing in a towel they certainly didn't have to was the fact this tube is used on ARs or not. But, there is a market for
  4. This^^^ And I suspect there are many more on "our side" than you might imagine who don't bother to vote. We need a major "Get Out The Vote" effort.
  5. If I'm not mistaken there are companies who put their brand on the tube but they were still made by ITT/Enidine. If there is another that's made by a different manufacturer and works anywhere near as well I'd like to know about it. I haven't been able to find one though. Yeah, just checked the Mesa Tactical website; "The new Recoil Buffer is manufactured for Mesa Tactical by Enidine Incorporated."
  6. Interesting that you posted this, I've been looking for one for a while. I'm thinking ITT/Enidine isn't making them any more or something because I see "discontinued" a lot when I find a listing. Hard to figure why a part that is in demand and sells for $129-$150 isn't being made. Maybe ITT decided to stick with all the other industrial shock absorbing items they make and get out of "guns". Who knows?
  7. As a 17 year old Gunner's Mate in the USN my father "survived" having a Liberty Ship shot out from under him but this fact is all we ever knew about it, he never spoke of it to his family. But as I child I do remember hearing the result of him awaking in the night screaming....I can only imagine the content of his nightmares. So while he did survive physically to come home he gave almost everything else to his country, to you and to me. He only found solace in the waking world in the bottom of a bottle. This day is for those who gave everything they could possibly give, we owe them a
  8. God Bless the Master Chief and ALL who gave everything they had to give. I don't even want to get started on those who would dishonor and defame their memory. All I can say is that I pray there a very special place in HELL for your sorry, unappreciative asses. I posted this on another board almost 13 years ago and it perfectly expresses my sentiments. http://www.freerepublic.com/~battleflag/index To all my brothers who are vets, have a good one and stay safe, I love you all.
  9. I'm not sure about the "Anti" line up in the film and there are certain ones who I can barely stand to see much less hear. But if the film appears to be one sided with only the "Pro" side being shown it hurts it's credibility. Regardless of who is shown on screen it's the overall message that matters most. Here's a story on Foxnews.com about the film. It seems they gave the grabbers the last word but Fox is "fair and balanced".....I guess.
  10. For every other "big deal" movie that has come out in recent years I could pretty much care less about the other movie goers in attendance. No big deal being around other Sci-Fi, Horror, Action Movie fans. But in this case it will be cool to gather with other 2nd Amendment/Gun Rights supporters and watch something positive after months of being demonized, beat up and marginalized in the MSM. There should be a vibe there I want to be part of. Iron Man IV, Quentin Tarantino's latest self indulgent crap, the latest and greatest...meh, I'll wait til it comes to DVD. I won't support H
  11. I haven't seen a movie on the big screen in quite a while but I will be there to see this one.
  12. We talked here about it when this project was kicked off and some contributed to it (myself included) then. I must admit that I wished it had come out sooner to help our side in the war of words with regard to gun control. But I understand the scope of the movie was widened from California to the whole nation in light of certain events so it may have been a good thing that it took longer to finish. Today it will be screened for the first time and the general release is supposed to be on June 20th. I urge all Pro Gun Rights people to talk it up and see it. This movie will be a rare "med
  13. What, only one tilt cylinder? Not doing it now but I've got 25,000+ hours on Cat 966, 980C and 980G FELs most with 20 yard chip buckets. Never turned one over (witnessed it more than once though) but I did have the fuel injector hard lines come loose on one once, fire suppression system didn't work so I bailed and it burnt to the ground. One of the best jobs I ever had.
  14. Asa Hutchinson and the folks at the NRA's National School Shield program have been busy and their report is out. The full report is 225 pages long and there is also a 20 page summary here; http://www.nraschoolshield.com/ While the usual suspects will have nothing to do with it IMO there will be much interest nation wide. I don't have kids in school but nonetheless I'm going to support this program in any way I can.
  15. Where did you find a stainless trigger? I emailed the address I found on another board for Parts Production in Oregon and it bounced like a super ball.
  16. I talked to Crossbreed today, changed my order (Super Tuck for a P220/P245) to the P239 I should be getting tomorrow. The guy told me they were shipping "March 3rd" orders now. I placed my order March 15th so I guess I've got 2-3 weeks to go.
  17. Which one did you get? I like mine, got an Uncle Mike's pocket holster for it and it's my constant companion. I do think the rubber grips and extended mag make a big difference.
  18. Just got word that we've got them on order. They'll be on the site soon. Good news. I have that page bookmarked but if you think of it when they come in PM me, got a lot going on and I don't want to miss it. Btw, I want them to keep not resell. Is there any connection between the SIG LE discount program and yours, or is yours similar? I qualify and I'm considering a SIG AR.
  19. me too, backorder, tentative arrival to cabelas 5-25-13 Damn, I didn't notice that. Hope it doesn't keep getting pushed back.
  20. Finally got my confirmation email and, it's showing up in my order history.
