  1. i had the same problem with my tapco stock. i used a washer under the tang and it lined right up with the receiver.
  2. yeah, will it work with a folded stock??
  3. I have 3 md's, 2 sgm 12's, 2 10's. It's enough to load a Federal bulk pack and I load a slug in the mag first to follow the birdshot and help clear the barrel. They also fill the 4 remaining spots in the mags. I go with a 200 round cap for my rifles, 6 30's and 1 20 for the aks and 4 50's for my 10/22. My advice is to pick a round number you are comfortable with. I didn't see a point in buying more than I could carry in my vodoo bag.
  4. Obviously, but i dont think it will ever be that low again. It's a little something besides a gun that will hold value for when the dollar collapses. And it will. Just sayin'.
  5. With all of the panic buying and the remorse of those who have gotten on the saiga 12 boat a little late, I thought someone should make a point of mentioning that silver and gold have been in a down trend. If you have been thinking about making a purchase I'd keep a close eye on it, it might be your last good chance.....
  6. I have the AMD now, but i think I'm still gonna order a kit , I need something in 5.45 now.
  7. Is this what you need to keep the handguards from shifting around? Mine do a little but it's not that bad. I wasn't sure if the old clips worked with the newer stocks I was thinking about getting a pair.
  8. I got mine at Cabela's. It's gonna cost you a premium though....
  9. Well i guess that settles it. It's not often I change my mind about these things but I can't deny the value. Plus the AMD looks mean as hell.
  10. You are quite persuasive I've been thinking about the AMD alot now. Now my question is does the stock stay in place when folded or does it swing around?
  11. I think you only have to drill some holes for the front trunnion on the nodak receiver vs a blank although that would be cheaper. Now I'm really thinking about the AMD cause of this bug in my ear. I just cant imagine that wire stock being that much better. Are they considered a short barrel?
  12. Yeah the AMD 65 is cool. But if I got that I would want to put a quadrail and get some cool sights or a lazer and a better grip and I will end up spending way more than I am trying to spend right now. And I want a more classic looking ak and the screw build seems like an interesting project. I guess the real reason i asked this question was because I just wanted to know if there was any major differances between a Bulgarian or a Polish ak.
  13. The question was "romainian wasr or polish screw build?" not "why don't I want an underfolder?" Folding stocks aren't really built for comfort and the tantal style folders are expensive and hard to find. The underfolder is also more compact. I don't now anyone who has one, but it seems there are alot of people who have them and like them. I was gonna save a wire stock build for if I ever get a 5.45. I mainly just want something more compact. I already weighed the other options. So if you had to choose between a wasr and nodak spud, which would you pick? Right now I'm leaning towards
