Well I pulled the RAM off my Saiga and replaced the spring but sadly no help. The mag will still drop out unexpectidly and yes I tried different mags. If it won't work on my Saiga I am sure as hell not gonna but it on my Vepr! I think I'll try the JTE tonight and run it tomorrow...if not I am going back to the original. What kills me is that it feels good and tight, seems to hold well...until firing anyway.

I have the RAM on my Saiga 12 and I do have the problem of mags dropping out. Since I have to remove it anway I just ordered the JTE version to see if I like it any better. I also ordered extra springs and pins since I think the spring is the real problem. Just doesn't seem to have the "tension" it use to. Maybe I let the spring slip but either way I should be able to fix it this go around. I have a VEPR 12 to do at the same time so when the parts get here I'll let ya'll know how it goes.

Thanks Matther H, I was really wanting a full blown 12" folding stock the whole nine yards. I've heard that even at 12" you have to do some gas porting work and i'm not willing to do that on my own. BUT your saying if I keep it over 12 there shouldn't be an issue. right?

I'm thining about having my Saiga made into a SBS. Of course I want it all legal. Does anyone have any experience good or bad with the venders that do custom work like that here? You can PM me if you don't want your info published. Just looking for some good leads you know what I mean? Thanks

Good question Lord ak47. I asked Shannon@ Cobra Customs the same question. Do we need G2 FCGs or can the Vepr FCGs be moded to be just as good.

When do you think you'll have the GK-01 type muzzle brakes back in stock? Wish I would have though to get parts before the gun got here!!
