Qeth, your hand guards look good. I'm jealous. I must have gotten bad ones. My top piece is rough...like a rough "fibrous" feeling. My bottom one is smooth but flaking. Anyway, here is mine so far.

Finally got mine. My rail is almost straight when the dust cover is closed. It looks horrible when open and there is considerable wear on the receiver from forcing the dust cover over to the right when closing. It's too bad.. Also my top hand guard is really rough and the lower hand guard is flaking in spots. One side of the dust cover has a smooth finish...the other side a rough one. I have not shot it yet so hopefully after shooting it I will feel better about the purchase.

Mine came with 1. Go to page 7 of the manual. Standard equipment lists 5-round magazine: Quantity 2. Maybe the decision was made post-import to pull the 2nd mag sell separately.

Have you used this setup? I have the same one but it came with the RM-34 tall mount. I'm wondering if I should order the regular RM-33 mount. I don't have the VEPR in hand yet (just a few more days) and I will be using the Molot factory folder whenever that gets in.

Was he quick to respond or did it take a couple days? I ordered the stock and trunion back on November 22nd, was charged on November 23rd, however I have not received any responses to my emails regarding the order status. It;s only been a couple days since I first emailed but it just makes me slightly worried seeing that I was charged $400 already (includes the shipping). **UPDATE, he got back to me. Order has been placed with the factory and they are awaiting shipment.
