  1. If we are talking about ammo shortage for just general hunting or target shooting purposes or just to have ammo to re-sell, then I can understand you guys with a basement full of ammo and tables or reloading gear. BUT........ If we are talking about going to war then you guys are sitting ducks. All your stockpiles of ammo aint gonna mean shit when they come in with the tanks and blow you and your house full of ammo to the moon. You think your gonna have time and the means to load up 20,000 tons of ammo to get the hell out of dodge. your gonna be a big pile of smoldering ashes right next to
  2. If I have to cut, chop, drill, burn, smash, grate, file, weld or anything else to my gun, I am not interested. I didn't buy a $700 dollar gun to play Mr. Mechanic on it. That is why my MKA is still stock and will remain that way. and guess what, my stock gun shoots just as good as your guys $1000.00 in upgrades guns do.
  3. They will probably go after bigdaddyhoffman1911 next. It's not a good time to be putting yourself out there.
  4. I do like this fore guard the best. I like how it is big and round on the bottom for a good grip. I'll get me one when they have it ready for the XN model. But these guys seem to take forever to get a product out. They need to take some lessons from tooth and nail on how to get a product out quick.
  5. WOW!!!!!! YOU WIN! I may sell my house and live in that baby, problem is I couldn't fit all my guns in there.
  6. Yes, they are a true American firearms company. Very under rated by todays standard. I'm really driven once again to get one. I have my dream of having one hunting Muley's in the mountains here, on my pack mule! That is a great dream to have my friend.
  7. I want to know how they got that lever action so smooth. You know how on most lever rifles you can feel the clicks, on the Henry it is all smooth. I had to actually look down and see if it actually cocked because it felt like air. I've never been more anxious to shoot a rifle in my life. You would swear a gun of this build quality would cost thousands of dollars. $699 brand new in the box. Gotta give it up for Henry. Goes to show a USA company can produce a top of the line product and make it affordable to all. Also signed up for the Bass Pro credit card and got $80 off the purchase price
  8. let me tell ya, you wont be dissapointed. This is one of the most well built beautiful guns I have ever seen. the pic don't do it justice. The lever action is smoooooth as butter. I have been thinking about ordering the large loop from Henry ( big rifleman fan myself) but I'm sure like everything it would probably take 6 months to get it. I actually picked this up at my local Bass pro shop. It was love at first sight. Henry is a fantastic USA company and their products are the best money can buy.
  9. im taking my mom who is down visiting tomorrow! i have 44 mag brasss if ya wanna reload messiah thank you kindly, but I'm gonna hold out for some Hornady Leverevolution. I have heard great things about this ammo. and my new Henry Big Boy 44 has been asking me for it exclusively.
  10. Been looking at some land up in Montana, seems like some pretty good deals there. Gotta have water running through it though.
  11. been planting spent casings in hope some fresh ammo will pop in a few months.
  12. can someone simplify that down to a couple of paragraphs, I cant stare at the computer screen long enough to read all that.
  13. everybody I ever knew who had a Bronco got left in the mud by the Jeeps. No pun intended.
  14. how many people would drive their new $77.000 dollar RR through a river bed of unknown depth????? I'm guessing only the factory sales department that had it pre-tested.
  15. the thing that gets me is it's not only ammo and guns that are scarce it's everything associated with shooting. I have been waiting 2 months now for glass to arrive for my AR50-A1. People are even hoarding scopes????? If you want to order something on line you may as well forget about it, or plan on waiting 6 months or more.
  16. well, I just got back from Cabela's and while they seem to have plenty of rifle and shotgun ammo, the handgun shelves are dry. Same over at Bass Pro shop and Guns Unlimited. Is it like that in your guys neck of the woods?(no handgun ammo) I will say they had a smokin deal on the 7.62 x 39. $6.00 for a box of 20. I could only buy 5 though.
  17. Montana is a great state, I hope to live there someday soon.
  18. problem now is that is the normal way of thinking, hence no ammo for a loooooooooooooooong time. Most retailers wont let you pre-pay for ammo now, because they have no way of knowing how much they will receive.
  19. I would be more than happy to pay cash and even willing to pay a bit more if available. I've got a brand spankin new Henry Big Boy 44 that cries out to me everyday..."please shoot me" and I have to tell it.."someday soon....someday soon"
  20. I have been looking for Hornady Leverevolution 44 mag for the last 3 months. Guess they got 20 boxes in the other day...poof, gone in 60 seconds. At all my local retailers there is NO handgun ammo at all, any caliber. I have a feeling it is going to be like this for quite a few years.
  21. This no ammo shit is really starting to get me down. Spring is a springin and I cant even shoot my guns. The guy at Bass pros and numerous other outlets in town all said the same, we got a load of ammo in the other day and it was all gone the same day. I mean this shit is getting ridiculous. If this shit keeps up there is going to be people shooting people just for ammo. QUIT HOARDING ALL THE AMMO PLEASE........for fuck's sake.
  22. the only thing that would have made this better is if his vicious attack dog would have attacked a human. That would have certainly shut these Giffords up for good.
