  1. The magwell versions are gone already. It makes you wonder how many they got in to begin with.
  2. For anyone that's been waiting...these are back in stock at Legion with free shipping... http://legionusainc.com/saiga-12-izhmash-original-non-magwell-magazine-8-round.html $109.00 http://legionusainc.com/saiga-12-izhmash-original-magwell-magazine-8-round-iz-408.html $119.00 or $107.10 for 5+
  3. I picked up a couple of Izzy factory 8 rounders the last time that they were available at Legion and am really impressed with them. I emailed Alex from Legion shortly after they sold out to ask about future availability. He said that they were expecting another shipment within a month. I've been watching the site, but nothing yet. In my impatience, I figured I see if anyone is interested in a trade. I have a 12 round Promag Drum that I have locked into the gun (no fitting, no loading, no firing) in it's original package, and an extra SGM 12 round in its sealed package that I would
  4. Here is the full compilation referenced in that shorter video. It's a good reminder, and watching this every once in a while will make anyone a little more cautious. You'll also question your faith in humanity a few times watching all of these ridiculous ND's. There are also plenty of girls getting their asses kicked by guns that they shouldn't have been talked into shooting by their asshole boyfriends in the first place. Plus, lots of pistol grip shotguns and scopes to the face with the odd gun exploding mixed in for good measure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcbexPzoTqg (edi

  6. Just hoping this helps somebody out. http://centerfiresystems.com/mka-1919bx.aspx
  7. Support the shop! They are awesome. http://saiga-12.com/proddetail.asp?prod=AGP-S12-MAG http://saiga-12.com/proddetail.asp?prod=SSGMP1212
  8. I'm with you...I'd at least have to get one if they were available, just thought the Circle 10 comparison was interesting enough to throw out there.
  9. I curious if a metal mag would actually be better. Of course steel is stronger than polymer, but with AK rifles, the Bulgarian Circle 10 metal lined polymers are the gold standard in magazines even though steel surplus mags are readily available. The weight benefits of polymer with a metal cage are obvious, but there is also less probability of denting a magazine. I have seen tons of inoperable metal AK mags with jammed followers and bent lips, but have never seen a failed Circle 10. I'm sure that there are some guys that have seen broken or damaged (10) mags but they can definitely ta
  10. Jealousy starts creeping in....
  11. You guys are awesome...really. Thanks to everyone who took the time to post here and PM me. I might have made a bigger deal out of the extraction issue than it actually is. I've never had to resort to anything but the standard reach under the weapon and charge it the same as an AK. It just takes more force than I was expecting in those FTE situations...which are not common. It's never been close to needing a boot or hammer. I'm definitely feeling better about the bolt face. Right now, I'm thinking I'll probably just shoot the shit out of it as it is while it's under warranty.
  12. That does seem to make sense. One the one hand, having the bolt polished by a company such as yours has always sounded tempting. On the other, if FIME sold me a gun that is damaging itself beyond what would be considered acceptable, it seems like they should make it right. Like you said, it can be tough to tell without actually handling the bolt, but is it your opinion based on what you have seen that you would be able to resolve it during the course of your regular bolt service? Do you think it's more likely a function of the shape/size of the bolt, or something out of spec in the rec
  13. Back before the panic I purchased an SGL12 from KVAR after wanting an S12 for a long time. The gun runs great with most loads and has approximately 700 rounds of everything from bird & buck to slugs and I am very happy with it. The only issue I noticed when it was new was that the bolt did not ride smoothly all the way forward. It wasn't getting hung up on the hammer as is so common with AKs, but rather running into resistance in the last quarter inch where it goes into battery. If you pull the charging handle all of the way back and let it go, it runs home with no problem...ditto w
  14. That's strange. I received the order complete email several hours after the tracking info. In my case they are shipping USPS. Maybe do a search in your junk mail folder? Shipped from: JACOB FINKELSHTEYN LEGION USA 1835 E HALLANDALE BEACH BLVD APT 221 HALLANDLE BCH FL 33009-4619
  15. They were definitely out of stock this morning but appear to be back in stock now. Maybe it's a strategy of incremental inventory to keep the gougers from buying them all up without artificially limiting quantity per order.
  16. Obviously there is plenty that I don't know, so feel free to correct me, but I can't help but think I'm missing something. If LEGION is only an importer, why are KVAR/ARSENAL/FIME rifles like the SGL marked LEGION? I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that LEGION was sort of a custom shop under the Izhmash factory umbrella.
  17. I just got my USPS shipping notice from LEGION. Thanks again to everyone for their help. I wouldn't have had the balls to jeopardize the KVAR order without hearing from you guys about your experiences with LEGION. Pardon my ignorance, but is this company affiliated with the LEGION custom shop as stamped on some Saigas or is it just a U.S. company using the name?
  18. They say they are still in stock, but the beautiful image has been removed and there is a placeholder there now. Hmmm? I'm curious how many of these made it in to the country. I don't suspect it's a coincidence that these have been virtually non-existent for years and then both KVAR and LEGION end up with them recently. http://legionusainc.com/saiga-12-izhmash-original-non-magwell-magazine-8-round.html I noticed a while back that KVAR listed a version of the SGL12 that came with a voucher for one of these mags about a month ago, so I was keeping my fingers crossed that they ended up
  19. Police Mags? Please do elaborate, or feel free to point me to an old thread if you have a moment. (edited to deal with me totally screwing up the "quote" system.)
  20. This is what put me over the edge. After getting no response via email, I called KVAR and they were very helpful and friendly cancelling the order. I placed a follow up order with Legion. I would have preferred to keep my business with KVAR as they have been great to me , but an extra hundred bucks was just too hard to stomach in this case. Thanks to HighPlainsDrifter for the heads up and BigD1979 for the follow up. BigD... what shipping method did they use for your order? (UPS, USPS etc...)
