I am looking at new front sights for my S12, I see Tromix has some. Does anybody know what the thread pattern is? It looks like I could unscrew the original and replace it with whatever I can find to match the threads. Sorry if this question has been repeated over and over.

The AK Brake? I saw one of these a long while back on Tony's site. I don't think he runs them in his production line but he made up a one off for me. I just put the front rail on yesterday and painted the bead sight gold. Gotta have the "Bling"!

Tony is tuning up my S-12 right now, I hope I can figure a way to mount the front sight after Tony mounts a AK style brake. May have to remove the barrel and slide it on from the breach.

KVNGort, What kind of peep sight did you put on your S-12? I would like to see what kind of options are available to upgrade my irons. Thanks

I got a few of the 5's Never planned on droping $100+ for just 3 more rounds. But at $60 ish, I may try a couple of those 10 rounders, it may double as a monopod!

I hope the stocks that work on the Saigas we have, with the rear trigger group, get to the store. Along with the hold bolt open lever. My AK-12 is almost 2 years old and needs something new. I hate the idea of all the new stocks only working with the forward mounted trigger group. 2 Saigas would be hard to justify.

I'll be getting my EO Tech HUD sights about the same time I get the rail mount for my AK-12 (Saiga). Dose anybody know if the shock and recoil will beat up this sight beyond it's endurance. I hate the thought of putting a sight that costs as much as my AK-12 on and having it break. Maybe I should just leave it on my M-17 but it will look so at home on a Saiga-12.

The laser really does add a wow factor to the Saiga, how clear is the laser on target? If the laser makes a good dot and the price is not over 100$ I'd play with one. Can't wait to see teh toys you come back with!

Ok, I'm excited now! If you do run a batch of "Beta Stocks" I'll buy one for sure. After the trip let us know how much they will go for and when they start comming off the line. I'll be the coolest kid on my block for sure! Let us know if anything new comes up about the stocks, lenth, sling mount, grips........can't wait!!

Makc, read that you are going to Russia. Was wondering if you are planning on getting cool Saiga parts to bring home? Since parts seem to be uncommon around here thought Russia would have a bunch. Mags and Stocks would sell them selves but only the leagal one's. Have a great trip, gonna post vacation pics on your sight?

I picked up my 19" with no threads a couple days ago and it's fine with all sorts of slugs. Have had to use a hammer and punch to move my non-adjustable sights but it's good now. I must say that the 00buck is much like throwing sand into the wind but I got mine for bear protection anyway.

I would with out a second thought use the beta stock, but would like to have a recoil pad and sling attached to it. Looks great. how long is it vs. the OEM stock?
