  1. I have read up on them it wil be my next buy after i close on the house No doubt, this thing sounds like a ton of fun!! Congrats on the house
  2. Thanks brain3278, I appreciate your response. After I posted my question, I already found where this topic had been discussed. I read that input as well. Thanks again
  3. I was readn' up on the Kel Tec PLR-16 pistol 5.56mm. Sounds as it takes the same mags as AR15 / M16. They can be had for less than $500.00. This pistol also reads to be quite accurate. Since I already have a Saiga .223 / 5.56, I think this pistol might be a good addition for general plinkn' or for SHTF situations. Just wish mags were interchangeable. Thanks 4 any valued opinions

    .223 / 5.56

Not a problem for me as I have but one .223. Couple of my shootn buds however will be pissed. Guess they will have to get Saiga's now.... or start buying their own freckn' ammo.... Oh yeh, the NATO shit is a lot hotter than rem .223

    .223 / 5.56

At $2.50 a box, for NATO-spec ammo, it sounds to me like you found a deal! In my humble opinion, FWIW, when you find good ammo cheap, 'buy in bulk'... ;>) I went back w/ 5 bills wishfully thinking there was lots more 5.56x45 to get. He in fact did have many more rounds for me, liked that I had the cash on me & let me keep one of my "C" notes & had me out to door w/ 4000 rounds of NATO spec for $400. BOO-YAH BABY!!!!

    .223 / 5.56

Picked up some 5.56 NATO today, 10 boxes for $25. Oh boy did it ever work. Think I'm going back tomorrow for the rest of his supply. The yotes won't know what hit um'
  7. Thanks again for the answers. Gotta build up my 's a bit & decide what direction I want to go w/ my Saiga. Right now my .223 is working well for me right off the shelf. I do need to get 2 or 5 more Saiga's though as prices around here are starting to climb. I'd like to get a 12 & .308, maybe 7.62. Do know one thing though, I need to do this before the fu<Kn' Brady Bunch & tree huggers get grabby!! Here's to keep'n barrel's hot & brass fly'n
  8. I do apologize if I am asking a repetitive question here. I have looked into the 922r guidelines. Would installing a Dinzag bullet guide to use USA made hi-cap mags w/ no more US made parts be a violation of the 922r? Thanks again...
  9. Curious - Will the factory Saiga mags still work after installing Dinzag's bullet guide in .223 or 7.62?
  10. That blows big time bud! You know anyone w/ FFL willing to help you out? Keep lookn' man you'll get it.
  11. Thanks for all the input pretty much the way my little woman states it, length not so much an issue when it's as thick as a soup can... lol! buy one, buy them all be they big, be they small
  12. Need another one!! I have a Saiga .223 w/ 16" barrel which is kick ass fun to shoot! Was at my local gun guys shop the other day & he has couple of .308's right now. Both w/ the 16 & 20" barrel, & both w/ 8 round mags. Beings as I have not shot w/ 20" barrel wondering if anyone might have any advice they would be willing to share. Thanks
