If the new stock is the factory Dragunov from Saiga, the easiest thing to do is add a slip-on Limbsaver brand recoil pad in the large size. It adds about an inch to the L.O.P. & fits the stock really well. Doug

Hi, buy a Large size Limbsaver brand slip-on butt pad for this stock. ( Don't buy the Pachmayr, I tried that & it didn't work.) It fits & looks great! Also, it'll take the sting out of shooting this rifle with the stock steel butt plate Doug

Hi guys, where can you buy a new rear peep/ghost ring sight for the S-308? The factory sights are OK, but I think I could get better groups with this kind of sight. If anybody has one or has had one, please chime in with any comments positive or negative about it. Thanks Doug.

Hi Guys, I've bought a Saiga 308 recently & have been interested in converting it into the standard AK-47 configuration. I really don't want to do it myself, so that's not an option at this time. Unfortunately, now that I'm interested in doing this, Mr. Rumore of Tromix has been swamped with work & isn't taking any more jobs until Sept. Now, without causing problems or a flame war, I'd like to ask the people who know who would you recommend to do a first class job on a conversion & why? Thanks, Doug

Hi guys, just picked up a LARGE size Limbsaver slip-on recoil pad & it fits great! I tried a Pachmyr slip-on before & it just didn't work . Until Saiga comes up with some new kind of factory buttplate for the Saiganov stock it works . Doug

Hi, what size limbsaver slip-on pad did you use? Also does anybody know if the slip-on butt pads for the SKS Dragunov stock will fit the Saiga skeleton stock? Thanks Doug
