Well Clyde from RAAC is the man. I spoke to him yesterday morning and had a replacement part by noon today. Plus a couple of beer cozy's to boot.

Is it normal for a 24" to only have 2 gas ports? I'm also missing my gas piston, which appears to be a somewhat normal occurance. It does appear to have plenty of room for additional holes though.

Well make that one other person who's missing the gas piston on a brand new shotgun. I think I'll call RAA directly since they're here in Indiana. The upside is that I only wasted 75 rounds trying to break it in.

At some point I'm going to cut the 24 inch barrell on my brand new shotgun. I won't go into why I didn't just buy a 19 incher. Anyway, advise on threading the barrell or what the thread size is? I've went over Cobra's tutorial several times, but that's on a rifle.

Okay. I called every RAA authorized distributor and got zero stock all across the USA. Does anyone know who the actual importer is? Or got some inside scoop on the ETA of the thousands of imbound units? One guy even told me the 'State Department' is holding up the delivery. It's the big green weanie. Like dejavu all over again.

I haven't aspired to the Ivan owner ranks yet. But...when I shoot the steel at the local meets I gotta use #6 or they just don't go down. That's with my handy 870 pump. I pray for the day when I can get a Saiga. A shotgun that uses a magazine, who'da thunk it.

Okay. PG's are plentiful. But where do you get the nut? The thread on doing the mod seems straight forward. But all the grips I've seen do not have a nut included.

Does anyone have any suggestions on modifications or conversions for 3 gun?
