saiga bullet guide arrived quickly, great to deal with!

I picked up a side rail quick detach mount for only 17 bucks shipped on ebay that works perfectly and sits very low and close to the cover. I'll pm you the link, but its extremely stable and i really like it.

I just won some A1optic green and red dot with 2x screw on magnification lens on gunbroker for 18 bucks shipped. For the price, and lifetime warranty its worth the risk. I'll report how I like it once I get it.

okay, i just won a x39 on gunbroker and havent received it or shot one yet, but before buying, i bought eight 30 round promags from a guy on these forums for a great price ($75 shipped) so its worth it and i got a great deal whether they function 100% or not. But from what ive seen. Sometimes some of the promags might not cycle the last round in the magazine, so that they are more like 29 round mags. But others work just fine. All of them have lots of mag wobble, and seem to have a plastic tab near the top of the mag that breaks off easilly. However, there is a lifetime replacement

thanks you guys who have responded so far. I intend on getting a saiga next month, and it will be my 1st real rifle. I have seen videos of the maglula loader and it looked fast and easy and was wondering if it would work. Im pretty much leaning towards a saiga in 7.62x39 although i am kinda liking the AMD-65.

I have two questions, first is will saiga mags still work if there is a bullet guide installed to take traditional AK mags? Second is, will an AK magazine loader work with saiga mags, such as the maglula for AK47s? Thanks!
