  1. Cobra, Ok, I admit I didn't read this entire thread, but how hard is this LRBHO install? Does it require cutting the reciever or drilling something? I'm planning on getting my gun converted and was wondering if I should hold off on the conversion until your LRBHO is ready. Thanks, Jake
  2. All kits are spoken for. I will now start a waiting list if someone drops off. Thanks, Jake
  3. All PM's responded to. See post #39 for most recent list. Notify me if there are any errors. Only 3 spots left! Jake

  5. Only 6 spots left! I'll add a waiting list after the 30 spots are filled in case someone backs out. Jake
  6. I need to order the ERGO grips on Tuesday 1/22/08. Up until this time, new group members can sign up for the ERGO or SAW grips. After this date, only SAW grips will be available. Thanks, Jake
  7. Guys/Gals, Please include your screen name and real name with all correspondence. This group buy stuff is a big pain in the A$$ on my end and it is made more difficult when you don't include your screen name.
  8. Dang it! Another group buy? It turns out I can get these at about $85 shipped. The ones without the slots are a bit cheaper. Anyone interested? If so, email me the next week and I'll set it up. Jake
  9. ***UPDATE*** I got the shepherds crooks and disconnector springs from Tony today. Thanks! Also got 1/2 of the SAW grips, 30 single hook FCG's, and and 30 grip screws/bushings today. We're headed in the right direction! I'm just waiting on the ERGO grips and the ACE parts. Reference the sling swivels, it looks like they are included. The following is from ACE's website description: ACE's famous AKFX folding skeleton stock. Includes all parts and hardware to mount it to your stamped AK. AKRBC Internal Receiver Block (AKRBC), folding stock mechanism (FSM-SMG), Skeleton st
  10. So, are these helpful for trap shooting or something/hunting? Anyone have a picture with one installed? Jake
  11. What's the value of one of these? Do they screw on a stock 19" threaded barrel? Thanks, Jake
  12. Juggernaut, As I read the law, 30" is not a problem. Must be longer than 26" with folded stock. If between 26" and 30" it just has to be registered as a 'pistol' in MI. Text below from MSP FAQ on firearms... 3. Do rifles or shotguns with collapsible/folding stocks have to be registered in Michigan? MCL 750.222 Yes, provided the rifle or shotgun is 30 inches or less in overall length with the stock collapsed/folded but at least 26 inches and the barrel length is at least 16 inches and 18 inches respectively. Attorney General's opinion #6280: if the firearm is less than 26
  13. Yeah baby! I'm a one in a thousand! Thanks for the update! Jake
  14. Check Brownells. They have tons of gunsmithing parts and my recollection is that they have a very nice selection of pads. Jake
  15. ***UPDATE*** #30 disconnector springs and shepherd's crook ordered today. Thanks Tony! Tapco has plenty of parts available. Ergo has all the grips we need. Jake
  16. If I was lucky enough to get a Tromix gun, you can bet I'd be paying extra to have the name put on it! Jake
  17. Now that's a great pic! Nalioth, is the crook not as good as the plate? I'm happy to look into other options, but I got the recommendation from someone who I figure knows much more than me. If it works, I'm fine with it. If a fire control group retainer plate is better, I'm happy to look into that, too. Jake
  18. Nalioth, I've no idea. I was told by Tony of Tromix that we needed a Shepherds crook and that he'd be willing to supply one. Very gracious guy. Anyway, I'm ordering them from him and will include whatever he sends in the kit. Jake
  19. Many happy years to you two! Thanks for your service, too. Jake
  20. That's what I was thinking, but wasn't sure. Actually, there is a good argument that DD's could be full-auto and still DD's. There has been some talk of being able to make a new FA DD and using it. Other than that, MG does trump SBR, AOW, etc. Jake
  21. Hello, The group buy is up and running. LINK to group buy thread... Thanks, Jake
  22. I've never done the conversion myself, but it looks pretty straight forward. Nothing too challenging. Jake
  23. ***Group Buy is on!*** See this thread in the for sale section: LINK Thanks, Jake
