    AGP Mags

I have a problem with my two AGP ten round mags in that they work pretty well only 5 rounds loaded but almost cycle in slow motion when I load more than 5. I did loosen the screws a bit as well as take them apart to look for burred edges all to no avail. I spoke with AGP and I am going to send these back for them to have a look. -Cheers

    Factory Mags

Guys, I am relatively new to the Saiga-12 and my question is is it near impossible to find factory magazines for this (not to mention ridiculously expensive)? Thanks in advance. -Cheers
  5. Guys, I fired my Saiga for the first time and the bolt handle is solid (not to mention the rest of the gun). I was actually pissed that I did not bring more ammo with me. The AGP mags jammed a couple of times but I will look into this. Overall, a very fun day shooting and this thing is addictive. -Cheers
  6. The several I've heard about have all broken pretty quickly. Just ask Will and he'll let you know. Jake All I can say is that in my experience with Atlantic, they are a top flight company and if there is a problem they stand by their products. -Cheers
  7. Hi Guys, I just got mine and have yet to fire it. Is there a certain lot of these that maybe by serial can determine if the weld is bad? I may contact Atlantic to see (or do we have to put say a 100 rounds through it first)? -Cheers
  8. Very informative indeed. -Cheers
  9. I have one--I am really looking forward to shooting it. -Cheers
  10. Hi Guys, Is it necessary to clean the gas system before I shoot my Saiga for the first time? I have cleaned the gun but not the gas system. Thanks in advance! -Cheers
  11. Thanks a lot guys. Great information. -Cheers
  12. Guys, Are there any videos or sequence pics that show how to clean a Saiga 12 Gas system? -Cheers
  13. I just got my Saiga 12 and before I fire it I want to clean the gas cylinder. I am not sure how to disassemble this. Is it just as easy as unscrewing it by hand? I checked the FAQ's but didn't find this. Please advise and thanks in advance! -Cheers
  14. I bought a NIB Remington 1187P and the first round I fired (#00 Buckshot) was an FTE. Remington was shipping from factory chambers that needed a fluff and buff. After I polished the chamber, the shotty fired like I expected when I bought it. It's a great gun now and one that I would stack up against the Benelli M4 as far as value for the dollar in a tube-fed gun. While I hope to avoid similar problems with my soon to be Saiga, I have come to expect that quality control nowadays across the board to be poor as it has suffered tremendously over the past decade or so and I don't like it one bit. 15. I got my order in just in time (though there is a wait). I agree, Atlantic Firearms have been very courteous and professional. -Cheers
  16. Hi Guys, I am new to the forum and will be getting my Saiga 12 in April. My question is if the old shot gun ammo is stored in a a clean dry area, how long/old do you think it will last to be efficiently fired/cycled from your shotty? -Cheers
  17. Hi Guys, I am new here and I absolutely have to have this gun. My only MAJOR concern is the problem I have read about concerning mashed shells when the mag is left in the gun for extended periods of time. To me, this problem would mean the Police, for instance. would never adopt it as they leave their squad guns loaded 24/7. Likewise, this will be my truck gun and I will be keeping it loaded all the time. Is there any fix in sight for the mashed shell problem (I've heard some say that even the steel case hulls mash a bit and are problematic feeding). I am interested in hearing your adv
