  1. Didnt know about this thread but: Obviously good feedback for Tony, he rocks. Also recently good feedback for Acca47/Acca, she sold me a Corsak22 laser for a saiga-12 and it arrived quickly and worked fine. She also gave me a translated install document even though the install turned out to be very easy.
  2. OK I installed it but what batteries does it take? AA dont fit and there is no such thing as a 3B. Do they mean a 3V battery of some sort?
  3. Wow never heard of anyone owning 3+ steyr augs before. Right place at the right time I guess. I thought all the Steyr Augs came into the country as LE guns and were later resold onto the private market. Were you one of the LE buyers or did you manage to hustle 3 augs on the secondary market?
  4. Yeah tony is great. He did my saiga-12 and he is finishing up my arsenal AK as we speak.
  5. I talked to tony last friday, he is still busy working on guns. Nothing seemed to be the matter.
  6. *flips calendar over to march* Guess those mags wont be arriving in January after all.
  7. I know tony has done shark brakes for saigas before and his prices are reasonable so send him a PM or email and see what he says. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=9605
  8. I was able to contact acca47 who is only accepting western union at the moment. If he/she is reputable I see no reason not to send more business his/her way.
  9. Where did you guys get yours? I'm trying to buy mine through Belomo from Belarus, but so far they havent gotten back to me. Also, how much did you pay?
  10. The ace folder is worlds better than the tapco one. The tapco is relatively flimsy plastic crap, the ace one is all milled aluminum with perfect fit and finish. Its like the difference between chocolate and shit.
  11. Wow he reminds me of sagat from street fighter. He looks almost too big to be real.
  12. This is the worst shit the ATF has been involved in since waco. Ah good coburn is on the judiciary committee. This might produce some interesting questions.
  13. Yeah, I only sent him one email and havent been harassing. I'm used to slow service from the russians. I ordered some stuff last november I think from russiancombatgear.com and it is still in the russian postal system as of last week.
  14. How about the laser? Does anyone know if the guy is still in business? He hasnt gotten back to me yet.
  15. rofl I knew I missed something obvious. Ok, I got it off. Was just curious. And who is that? Wow.
  16. I cant find any levers or catches that are holding it on. I also cant find anythign holding on the gas tube. What have I missed?
  17. Programming is the same, except they will come back to you 3 million times asking you to change how it works. It would be like a customer that would change his mind 30 times about what caliber, type of action, design of stock or metal finish, only multiplied many times over. You eventually get very good at designing software that is the equivalent of the M16 upper/lower system. It goes apart and comes together like legos.
  18. I have been looking for something like that for a while. That is the only thing really missing from the saiga IMO, besides the 10 round mags. I just emailed him. Thanks man. An integrated laser on the saiga will rock. Hey cobra, what is the deal with your custom sight? Is he taking orders from the general public or did you have some special exclusive hookup?
  19. We will offer them soon....subscribe to the mailing list...we post updates using that system. Thanks for your interest. Ian http://www.saigasolutions.com/ Been on it since months back.
  20. Yeah, offer some for sale and I'll buy some.
  21. Wow those mags look ginormous. Are they really only 10 rders? I could probably wrap it in duct tape and use it to beat people.
  22. All this moaning about the "fair" price. Just offer them for sale and we will make up our own minds. I cant wait to have decent 10 rd mags for the sagia. I've been waiting over a year for this.
  23. Oh crap yeah they are sneaky. Unless you really search, you cannot find that they are anti-gun. A lot of unwitting hunters could be deceived by a hard-sell phone call. That's scary. Their "keep a gun in the home for self defense" is basically a clever way of sneaking in the discredited Kellerman study misquote they are so fond of (43 times more likely). Actually, just site search google for the phrase "43 times more likely" and you will know if they are pro gun or anti gun.
  24. Well it really boils down to what this extra durability and quality adds to the unit cost and ultimately to our cost. I can tell you that anything over 50 dollars is not going to sell like hotcakes, especially if that guy with the steel mags starts shipping soon at anything approaching a reasonable price.
