  1. WOW in AZ we are only allowed 10K rounds stored at a residence and 30K at a residence with a permit. The counts are of course for all ammo combined. The .22 ammo can add up fast on a guy when buying in bulk. Looks like a lot of fun in the future for you.
  2. I don't think I have ever seen one in the US. Interesting gun and from the sites appear to be on the pricey side. Obviously don't know much about what will fit so can't be of any help there.
  3. I purchased my SKS when they were imported in so many numbers that you could choose from a crate any gun for $69.00. Wish I would have bought a dozen of them. The only conversion I have done is to put a fixed 5 round magazine to make it legal to hunt with. My SKS has taken a few Javelina and rabbit. I have not yet been lucky enough to get my deer with it. I have also taken Javelina with my AK47, also stock except for the magazine. Just like my Saiga shotguns I appreciate them for what they are and enjoy using them in their basic configurations. Although some of the mods are very app
  4. I will third that. The deal went very well and were just what I was looking for. Thanks, again
  5. And yet it is cheaper to come to Saiga-12.com and buy the mags then go pick them up direct. I recently picked up an S12 from a local place but was able to get my next two S12's and S20 cheaper through the mail (well sent to FFL dealer). Phoenix metro might be a big place with lots of shops but it is not the cheapest place to do business. Thank goodness for the internet.
  6. OMG these things are fabulous!. My s12 really loves these things. I can now waste as much ammo as I was in my S410 with the 10 rounders. I really need to get a drum for the 410 to go with the soon to come s12 drum.

    Duck hunting

even with the thread protector and no choke. Good to see others using their saigas in the field. They make an excellent field gun.
  8. Happy days are here, my 10 rounders finally made it to me. They were tracked to Phoenix a few days ago and I guess it takes a while to cross the "big" city. Thanks, Monitor Can't wait to get out now.
  9. Actually that one is a 6x6. Independent suspension and selectable hydraulic lockers all the way around, all stock on these trucks.
  10. Thanks, the base truck cost me $15K. I have put many creature comforts on it, xm radio,cb, intercom, lots of offroad armor, comfy seats..... but it has been a wonderful truck for me. I also have one in 4x4, paid $5k for it, got a really good deal. They are really amazing trucks in the stock configuration but can be modified as far as one is willing to go, much the same as the Saiga firearms.
  11. I know this is probably not your line of thinking but I found the best options for my s410 has been my s12 and soon to be an s20 added. I keep them in stock config except for the polychoke. I have considered the pistol grip, rifle sights, and some type of stock (not folding) but still have yet to find a need or strong enough desire. There are some very impressive looking saigas on this site that you can get ideas from.
  12. Me in my 712 Pinzgauer having a little fun. I use this and my 710 Pinzgauer to haul around my Saiga's to different hunting spots. a couple of vids of me and my trucks in action can be found on youtube, username swpapresident

  14. Don't forget doves and quail. I have found my s410 to be an exceptional small bird gun. My s410 has even been out after javelina(with slugs of course)
  15. Will keep an eye open for them. It is raining here this weekend so would not have had a chance to get out as planned, so no big deal. Thanks for keeping us updated and will let you know when they arrive.
  16. Where would one go to buy 4 Saiga 12 in 24" barrels and 1 Saiga 20 in 21" barrel (or longer)? I have hit up some of the usual places around here and they are just not interested in dealing in the Saiga line. There is a gun show coming to town in March where I can hopefully find at least a couple of them if nothing by then.
  17. I am jealous, still waiting for mine but that is what I get for living out west. Hopefully by the weekend to make things more interesting.
  18. I thought you all would get a kick out of the fastest shotgun in the world statement. I kind of laughed when I saw them. I do like the tube mags when hunting though. You can always top off if you fire just one round, not as easy with the detachables. It is worth using the Saiga just to see the others faces when I take it out. Again hunting like some of the trap/skeet allow only two rounds in the mag which kind of takes away the advantage of the detachables.
  19. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gk5zXbY-l2g need a cycle rate comparison with this one
  20. still waiting patiently until the 5th. I am going to make a prediction that the poll here won't differ much from the rest of the country. As I have made comments in other post, this is why we have soooo much trouble keeping our rights, especially the gun related ones. The people who get off their @sses are the ones who don't like guns and we loose. We have all seen it many times. Just look at 922r, should not even exist but yet there it is.
