I couldn't find anything about LEO's right to confiscate legally owned weapons from US citizens or residents under the provision of the Patriot Act. I would think NRA would be very vocal about this issue. Bvamp, I'm really sorry about your ordeal, I can understand how one might feel when the government barges into their life like that as I grew up in the former Soviet Union. If you happen to talk to your neighbor, ask him which part of the Patriot Act allows for such a blatant violation of our civil rights. I tried to skim through the PA, but couldn't find anything of relevance.

Thanks for the info guys. Down the road I too would like to have mine sandblasted and coated with Norell's Moly resin finish. I thought about doing it myself, but I don't have a sandblaster nor do I think my wife would appreciate the smell of freshly baked receiver! Do you know who can I send it to for a quality moly resin job? Oh, and how much do you think it will cost?

What would you guys recommend I use to keep the hammer and trigger pins in place? A shepherd's croock, home made contraption, e-clips or a retaining plate from Krebs? I just want something that will be fairly easy to install and could take the abuse.
