  1. Ex wives wont do my friend. I require that you go into town and find me 100% pure Cambodian breast milks...I only drink the finest breast milks.
  2. Waiting sucks but it will be sweet when you get her all together.
  3. Nice job! I have access to EDM too but had trouble seeing how I could make it cheap enough. Those EDM's take a long time to cut! Very nice though!
  4. Id say it cuts cuts flash by 50-75%. The bigger the load the better you can tell. There are some people here who have them and Id be interested to know if theyve tested theirs at night against a shotty without one as I have. Yes, you can get a version that fits factory threads.
  5. Yes it can be cut down so your MAG can hold 6 rounds. :-)~
  6. I love my ace too although I dont have the new style reciever adapter that you have yet. Post some pics already!
  7. Awsome pics wintermute. Dodgeturbo, the pic that wintermute posted is a factory threaded version. E-mail if you want one. Johnnymceldoo@yahoo.com
  8. I prefer a dull flat black to the glossy reflective black on the saiga. I do take pride in working on my own things and sharing my experiences with others.
  9. Yes I did. I cut metal for a living in fact. I just happen to like guns also :-D The charging handle is just a hacked off A2 charging handle.
  10. Yes its from tapco. It wasnt too hard to put on. I had too relieve the tang in the rear bottom so it could slip into the saiga reciever. I also superglued some plastic peices on the inside to fill up the gap inside and make it sturdier. The hardest part was making the front retaining plate. Its basically just a .100 thick U shaped peice of metal with a hole drilled through the bottom so you can tighten it down to the gas block. The flash hider is made by me.
  11. No I butchered it. Works much better now :-)~ The brass deflector is there because Im left handed. Works pretty good.
  12. I really like John Norrels moly resin. You need an air brush to apply it and must cure it in an oven but Ive been really impressed the finish and durability. Here are some pics all being flat grayish black color: The finish closely mimics a parkerized finshed or older colt ar15's grayish finish. They have a variety of different colors to choose from.
  13. What I did was placed the end of the barrel on a wooden table upside down. Then I took a long piece of cold rolled steel maybe half inch diameter by 6-7 inches long and placed it on the back of the gas block. Then I took a big hammer and hit the bar stock slowly moving the gas block. I didnt gain much after hitting it for a couple minutes so I heated the block up to about 500 degrees F. and went back to hitting it again. It moved much easier after that. Once I had it off I chucked the barrel up in the lathe and polished the gas block surface taking off maybe .0005 to make it easier to get
  14. Now how can you say that this shotty is ugly? I tripple dog dare ya :-)~
  15. Very good idea hardcorps. This will just make it a little faster to clock in the right position when you taking it off and on. I dont like the setscew version though....they take too long to make :-)~
  16. The first one will be shipped tomorrow. It SHOULD(it better!) fit. The price will stay the same as set screw and standard thread versions,
  17. GEEeeeezz!! Ball busting is asking 1/3 of a shotgun's original cost for a flash hider! Part of why I got into an S-12 was affordability. Granted, your part is pretty cool looking but GEEeeeezz!! Yes, I was being sarcastic quoting cartmans line from southpark. I completely agree with you that it is expensive. Others make them as well. Tromix(Tony Rumore) sells one and so does rusmilitary(I think). They are both cheaper(at least Tonys is).
  18. Dodge, c'mon your breaking my balls man, your breaking my balls... Seriously though, if I could make these any faster to cut down the cost I would.
  19. Yes I found a tap...well I found a place that would make one for me. Unfortunetely the cost was too high and so Iam chasing internal threads instead. Someone sent me their thread protector so I could make a thread gauge to check my threads after I chased them. Tonight I succesfully chased the threads for the FH and timing nut and will be shipping it to him wednesday and should know by the beginning of next week if it fits his barrel. Id like to have a tap as it would be less time consuming more forgiving but I cannot justify the price tag.
  20. Id like to add: If you would prefer to have a threaded version I have a die guide that you can rent allowing you to thread your own barrel instead of using the setscrew version. Some people here have used it and have had good succuss.
