ok so today i got my new gas tube (the right one this time ) and i got the upper handguard all mounted to complete my conversion but i have the two binding posts (they are BLING BLING super shiny, all i could find at the hardware store) and a few spots that got a bit scratched up durring the whole process and i was wondering what kind of paint i could use to touch them up and have it look decent, i don't want to have to repaint the whole thing, just some small spots....maybe with a small brush and model paint?? either way i'm wicked happy with the way it looks and feels in my h

how do i put my upper handguard on my new gastube with the retainers...the retainers don't seem to move, should they? or is there some other trick to it? thanks

what gas tube do i need to replace my factory siaga one for the front end conversion? i got 7.62x39 i'm an idiot and ordered an AKM one by mistake and its way too short...what one do i need so i can mount my upper handguard??

my friend has a press and i plan to do the lower handguard conversion this week and i was wondering if there is anything special i need to know before hand....i remember reading a detailed post about this on here a long time ago but i couldn't find it when i searched

thanks a lot man, you were totally right, there was a too much metal on one of the bottom corners of the trigger piece...i did a quick grind job and it works perfectly now....thanks for all the help...now i just gotta figure out how to press off the site and gas black
