  3. ok so today i got my new gas tube (the right one this time ) and i got the upper handguard all mounted to complete my conversion but i have the two binding posts (they are BLING BLING super shiny, all i could find at the hardware store) and a few spots that got a bit scratched up durring the whole process and i was wondering what kind of paint i could use to touch them up and have it look decent, i don't want to have to repaint the whole thing, just some small spots....maybe with a small brush and model paint?? either way i'm wicked happy with the way it looks and feels in my h

  11. my friend has a press and i plan to do the lower handguard conversion this week and i was wondering if there is anything special i need to know before hand....i remember reading a detailed post about this on here a long time ago but i couldn't find it when i searched

  13. thanks a lot man, you were totally right, there was a too much metal on one of the bottom corners of the trigger piece...i did a quick grind job and it works perfectly now....thanks for all the help...now i just gotta figure out how to press off the site and gas black
