ok so today i got my new gas tube (the right one this time ) and i got the upper handguard all mounted to complete my conversion but i have the two binding posts (they are BLING BLING super shiny, all i could find at the hardware store) and a few spots that got a bit scratched up durring the whole process and i was wondering what kind of paint i could use to touch them up and have it look decent, i don't want to have to repaint the whole thing, just some small spots....maybe with a small brush and model paint?? either way i'm wicked happy with the way it looks and feels in my h

what gas tube do i need to replace my factory siaga one for the front end conversion? i got 7.62x39 i'm an idiot and ordered an AKM one by mistake and its way too short...what one do i need so i can mount my upper handguard??

my friend has a press and i plan to do the lower handguard conversion this week and i was wondering if there is anything special i need to know before hand....i remember reading a detailed post about this on here a long time ago but i couldn't find it when i searched

thanks a lot man, you were totally right, there was a too much metal on one of the bottom corners of the trigger piece...i did a quick grind job and it works perfectly now....thanks for all the help...now i just gotta figure out how to press off the site and gas black

what does it do?

i took the BHO out, the hammer springs are right, the trigger seems ok since i can fire my first shot no problem...i didn't mess with the hammer at all though

i don't understand how that would make the hammer get caught in the disconnecter....i have no idea what the disconnecter is for though either....

so i got my conversion all done but when i pull the bolt back the hammer lock into the disconnecter and gets stuck inthere...hammer will not fire from this position when trigger is pulled any ideas? i got the single hook G2 FCG edit: i can fire my first shot but then it locks up like i said before...i tried to just slap some oil on the bolt but that didn't help....anyone??

Normally there is a spring looking thing that holds them in place. how do you keep the axle pins in place for the hammer and trigger?? mine are drifting out with just a light touch....anyone?

i FINALLY ordered all the parts for my conversion after a year of owning my saiga... they are gonna be here on monday and i'm wicked fuckin excited! my friend is gonna help me out since he has every tool i could ever need and a press too. when i get it all done i'll post pictures of the hoTT finished product (or pile of broken parts if i fuck it up)
