hey guys so i just finished my conversion will have pics tomarrow. i have a question though, so i installed the kvar warsaw stock and it was a really tight fit so i put it in as far as it would go and pounded it in on the ground..it was still too tight so i took it out and shaved it and now it fits good, my question is can you hurt or bulge the reciever by pounding in a stock like that. it looks fine but im just wondering?

ok guys 1 more question so i dont have any red loctite and thats usually what i use in this type of application (bullet guide). what i do have is loctite 290; the wicking stuff, and blue loctite jell. will the blue or green 290 work ok or should i get red again. funds are low so im trying to use what i have for now.

Hey guys so i picked up a few new saigas and have converted many of them and done the bullet guides and the whole shebang. I am now interested in changing the front sight post and gas block with ones that have bayonet lugs on them and while doing this installing a regular lower handgaurd retainer. Can this be done without a press?

I am just about to buy either a MKA 1919 or a Vepr 12. I am based in the UK and will only use for practical shotgun competitions. With my budget I can only get the Standard Vepr 12 but the MKA will have a new stock, Level 10 tooth and nail forend, new bolt handle, trigger replaced, new gas block etc. Both these come out between $2,500 and $3,000 Which should I buy? hey everyone...i have posted about this before but im still wondering if the chaos quad rail affects accuracy on the saiga rifle? I wondering if the set screws do anything to deplete accuracy? what do you think?

One thing I noticed and that worries me is that when the safety lever is in the safe position and with the dust cover off, the lever will disengage and move all the way up when the trigger is pulled hard enough. I understand normally one wouldn't or shouldn't have any ammo loaded with the dust cover off, but still worries me. The lever that engages the trigger in the safe position is slightly angled so that enough pressure is put on the trigger, and with the dust cover off to stop the lever from going up all way, it forces it upwards and releases the hammer. I recently purchased a saiga 20 and it is not ejecting shells. the bolt and carrier have been polished by previous owner. gas block is on properly, there are 3 gas holes in the barrel and all 3 are the proper size. I have tried multiple gas setting and still a fte every time. i have tried factory and aftermarket mags 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells. what could be causing this problem?

Hey guys so way off topic..i guess not too far off, as you guys know im getting a Citadel 1911 45 acp. and am wondering if anybody knew of a direct replacement barrel that i can drop in without a gunsmith or much fitting at all. i am pretty knowlegable with all guns and am willing to tackel any project. any help is appriciated.

hey guys just noticed a tiny burr lookin mark at the end of my barrel on my saiga ak. it is very small but was wondering what the chances are of a crack occuring in this area. it is about 1.5 inches from the muzzle. it doesnt look like a crack really but i just wanna make sure. i figured if it was a crack it would happen near the chamber where most of the pressure occurs.

Is it true that Hoppes 9 solvent is bad for chrome lined bores. i hear it can get under the chrome and attack the supposed copper lining that the chrome adhears to. Ive always used it and it sounds like bullshit. what do you guys think.

I send him a message saying how i didnt like his prices and that i thought he was price gouging.. this is what he sent me back.. Ticket status: Completed Department: General Subject: check this out We have filed a police report. Any and all further communication and evidence will be provided and logged to your case number. It will be transferred to your local authorities who will be handling it from there. Not a good idea to attempt to harass someone with many friends in the LE / GOV community.

Good Day all. Just thought I would share this with you. I ordered several 7.62x39 Hungarian steel 20 rnd mags. These were in stock and shipped today. I also asked how many they had in stock and was told, "more than you will need for tonight". Don't cha love a smartass. Also said they had some 30 rnds in stock. Also purchased a few SGM 10 rnd S12s. So as most of you know ive been wondering about my hammer dingin up the end of my bolt. well im wondering if it could get bad enough to where the hammer rests on the firing pin as well as the end of the bolt? could this break firing pins?
