Hi All, I have a Kriss Vector SDP and I have my completed Form 1 for it... Any recommendations on where/how to get it engraved? I've checked with my local gunstores, and the one contact one of them had does not have their engraving machine set up in their new shop, after the old one burned down last year. I can't find anyone else yet... What is the consensus to engraving on the polymer? Some folks say that's okay, others say a slot must be cut so it can be engraved on the metal frame underneath. I've also read that it doesn't even need engraved, so long as I'm not trying to s

Question for fellow class 2 builders, Does anyone have any pictures of the inside of a post sample Saiga 12 and the bolt carrier? Who would be helpful to contact for post sample build assistance as well (paperwork/credentials available for verification upon need)? Thanks guys

Ok..so i was reading on the NFA guns thread on facebook and apparently it is illegal to own NFA items in the state of texas ..even if you have a NFA Tax Stamp..According to this gentlemans story http://www.kens5.com/story/news/local/2014/06/27/10572466/ ..After he produced his NFA tax stamps to the off duty LEO he disregarded them and was still arrested..After doing a little digging in the Texas penal codes sec 46.05 ..It is correct Owning an NFA item in the state of texas is technically illegal ..but having your NFA Tax stamp gives you a defense to prosecution after you have been arrested and

Ok so i filed one of my Tax Stamps via Eforms 2 1/2 weeks ago for my mini draco..And guess what i got today in my email box? It was an approval ..I gotta say they are moving pretty fast over there via eforms..I should have waited before i mailed out my other Tax Stamp ..I called them today on it and they said if things still go as planned i might hear back something by october

Please forgive me, I've been out of touch and stopped sticking my head in here to say hi. I saw a proposed rule change from back in August 2013 that ATF was going to require EVERYONE, even trustees or Corporate employees to get fingerprinted, etc, and get the CLEO signoff. Did that get shot down from too many complaints, is it still 'proposed', or has Uncle ATF successfully screwed the US. Again. ??

The june 1st deadline is comming shortly.I dont think the ATF has any intentions of putting back up the form 1s back on there website before obamas executive order on june 1st.. What do you guys think?should i just mail it in and wait the 13months?Even though they post a letter on there webiste saying that form 1s will be following shortly after the form 6s..i think this is just a gimmick -

Ok so I bought a Draco pistol a while back with intentions to sbr it. I was just going to drill and tap the rear trunnion and add a DPH stock or something myself, but then I found out you have to have it engraved first and cant find anyone in town to do it so I figured Ill just have a pro do it during a build or something. Now this is where im confused. I filled out a ATF Form 5320.1 (aka Form 1) — Application to Make and Register a Firearm, used to make an NFA item. But if someone else is going to be working on it, will the form 1 work or will I need to fill out a ATF Form 5320.4 (aka Form 4)
