SSGTWC 0 Posted March 24, 2006 Report Share Posted March 24, 2006 I mean just the bottom Tdi hand guard with the Saiga gas tube. I don't have a retainer on there right now, so this is just a mock up. I'm about 90% done with my conversion, just waiting on some more parts. Then I'll give a paint job. DO NOT paint it the color of the pistol grip... and if you do... *DO NOT* set it on the rug there, where it is now... you will NEVER FIND IT AGAIN!!! I almost was going to ask what PG you planned to put on it... then I saw a faint outline of one... and I thought "oh ho... there IS one there... thats some GOOD CAMO!!!! YOUR PARTS WENT OUT TODAY PRIORTY MAIL YOU SHOULD RECIEVE THEM NO LATER THAN SATURDAYoppps damn caps lock.............. I think you will be very happy with them. You will need to notch your barrel for the latch with a dremmel or a rat tail file. and file out the long raised pecies inside the retainer unless you have a mill to cut the slots like the romys have on the barrel. the gas tube should fit right in palce take care, andy ps. danzig got my last extra pecies..
